What other schools are getting these 5th yr eligible players that didn't make a NFL Roster?

Be on the lookout after today.

My favorite in all of this is Virginia trotted out an OL this weekend of nothing but 24-26yr olds and they’re trying to kick LSU out of the SEC for not breaking a rule.
Can’t make this shite up.

It’s such performative bullshite because they’ve completely lost control of the sport

All 6th and 7th year guys, right?

Kiffin is no fool, so I assume that Verge and LSU are on top of this. I'm less concerned about the SEC trying to kick us out of the conference than I am about a deliberate smear campaign being conducted by the SEC Head Office against one of it's member schools.

Players with 6, 7 and 8 years in college. Chambliss was a scam and got 6 years. Nobody said jack about any other program even though this has been going on for months.

At least 4 of them are 6th+ years.
2 are 7th years.

Trent Hendrick -UCLA, NFL rookie camp
Cole Hutson - Texas, rookie minicamp
Luke Drzewiecki - Minnesota, rookie minicamp
Brylan Green - Arkansas, minicamp process
Ethan Johnson - USCe, minicamp process
Miles Rowser - Houston, rookie minicamp
Stephen Johnson - Houston, rookie minicamp
D'Angelo Hutchinson - Cincy, draft evaluation process
JaCorey Thomas - trying to return to UGA, rookie minicamp
Thomas Castellanos - Texas Tech, rookie minicamp
Alex Afari - Uk, rookie minicamp, eligibility uncertain
Dae'Quan Wright - LSU, NFL preseason
Zxavian Harris - LSU, rookie minicamp
Jack Pyburn - LSU (?), NFL preseason
There are of course other players from the class of 2022 that dipped a toe in the NFL process and back in the portal.
Dae'Quan Wright, Zxavian Harris, Jack Pyburn, Anthony Hankerson, Wydett Williams and TJ Harden all signed contracts. The later three are in the portal looking for a team.
I don't know where the goalpost is today, the media keeps moving it. I've heard making oneself available for the draft, minicamps, signing a contract, playing in a preseason game. I guess it's where ever they can make Kiffin and LSU look the worst.

Did those guys who went to mini camp sign contracts. If memory serves you don't necessarily have to be under contract at a NFL mini camp. However those that went to preseason and were on the 90 man roster have to be on a contract.
So there is a difference. The question becomes is this a distinction without merit.

Stop trying to justify screwing class of 2022. Literally players that showed on campus in 2019 when Burrow won it all.

Rookie mini camp is a short, three-day event held after the NFL draft, typically for about 40–60 players (draft picks, undrafted free agents, and non-roster tryouts)

ESPN
. While it’s not mandatory for all players, those who attend are paid under the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Not most of them but early on everyone was screaming that going into the draft process or rookie camps meant you should be ineligible to return. Now that schools other than LSU have been identified the goalpost has moved to those who signed contracts.

Right under the CBA those players automatically have their expenses paid whether they are under an individual contract or not.

Contract or no contract, those dudes are paid for mini camp.
