My experience may not work for you, but it may give you some ideas. My first grandchild was born in 2000. I worked shift work, so at least one day a week, I would go pick her up from daycare around midday and bring her to my house for the afternoon. Mom would pick her up after work. On my off weekends, I would bring doughnuts on Sunday mornings. We continued the same routine when she started school, with adjustments. One has to put in some effort and make seeing them a priority.
She finished LSU in '22 and moved out of state. I recently spent a week with her. I retired early to be able to see my other grandchildren as often and as long as I can. They also live out of state. It's worth all the effort.

I have a Skylight. It's great. It tells you when new photos arrive. And they have incredible customer service.

This happened to me last year from DFW to BTR. We made at least three circles over the gulf waiting to get into BTR. Ended up in Gulfport that night and completed flight next morning.

We are within a week or so of finishing a complete master bath renovation by DU Construction. Yes, there have been some issues, but I am impressed by the quality of their work and their attention to detail. This is the second major project that they have done for us. It's in my bedroom and every night between 2 and 3 it comes on. I've researched solutions and changed settings, but ir still wakes me up every night. Yes, I could close it when I go to bed, but I usually forget to do that. Suggestions?
Interesting. All the programmable LED lights that I have come on at the setting they were at when they turned off.
