I said it before, if we do, I'll eat crow and have seconds. It's nothing personal against Ensminger. I can't stress that enough. I want nothing more than to see him tear it up.
For me personally, it's the way that the "search," or lack thereof, was handled.
True, no one twisted Ensminger's arm to be the OC but there were no candidates mentioned for OCs, with the exception of Tee Martin being mentioned and that was because he reached out to O, not the other way around. That leads me to believe there was very little, if any, search was made.
I won't be mad, at all. I like Ensminger. I don't like O for putting Steve, seemingly forcing him into the position he's in now.
It's on O. If he had had an actual search like he claimed he would have when he took the job, this thread doesn't exist.

Foster Moreau is a beast and I think he is going to have a great year. They have good WR's. I think the Offense is going to be good.

QB development is key but the talent at wide out is pretty sick. Unproven but definitely loaded.

What's your definition of tearing it up.. it won't be like Oregon offense a few years ago or some high power offense. Brennan didn't get enough snaps under center. That's where coach o fricked up. Brennan should have gotten into EVERY game.. it could be just a couple series a game.. but no coach o has to meddle into the offense.

People will always be mad here. It's just the way it is here. Unless LSU is winning by 30 every game and Brennan is leading for the heisman the people will be crying about something.

Or promote the DLine coach to Head Coach, or the TE Coach to OC. I hear the next promotion will be one of the equipment managers to be recruiting coordinator. But yea, just regular shite people like to bitch about, no biggie.

If LSU won every game by 30...people would bitch and moan, and leave early.. or not show up at all because it's "boring".

Define tearing it up. Top 20 offense? I will say this...if LSU has a top 20 offense...they are in playoff contention for sure...and I will be the most pleasantly stunned fan around.

Of course not. Maybe O us a genius maybe his plan is great and we just can’t see it but there’s zero information that supports that. Chances are it’ll be like 2016 we look good because we just out talent lesser teams and we lay eggs vs good defenses. We can hope all we want but any rational person is expecting O to decline until he’s finally canned. Hopefully it’s before he runs us into the ground and nobody wants to come here to rebuild.

Search for Offensive Coordinator. Canada hired. Lasts one season. 1.7 million buyout.
No search for new Offensive Coordinator. LSU BOS/FKA say no Freeze or Briles. Gilbert not good enough. Hire the guy that talks like Spurrier.
Silver Lining. None of it works. 2018 is a disaster. P.J. Fleck kills it at Minnesota in year 2.. Hired at LSU for 2019 season. Orgeron and Alleva GONE.

When the offense improves over that Canada catastrophe, The Rant will attribute it all to having a better QB. And will claim that the offense could've been even better in 2017 if only Meddling O would've played a different QB.
