The “experts” on TR will be in disarray.

No disrespect intended, but we say this every year. We have yet to hire a QB master.

Offense will be a conservative, ball control, first half of Troy type offense. Jobs are on the line and everyone knows it. If they tear it up, then fantastic. Unfortunately, I see the JL/JJ saga all over again. QB A throws a pic or 2 and then the bench he goes with his confidence shot.

When the offense improves over that Canada catastrophe, The Rant will attribute it all to having a better QB. And will claim that the offense could've been even better in 2017 if only Meddling O would've played a different QB.

Go get the coffee, DP.

I don’t like the SE hire especiallynthenlacknof a real search for a proven OC. Just like I don’t like the EO hire and the lack of real search for a qualified HC.

That said, as an LSU fan nothing would be better than for them to succeed and win SEC and National Championships.

However, given both of their histories, it is very hard to be optimistic that anything good will come of this and will likely lead to both of their and Allevas firing. And there is a good chance that these decisions lead to a period of irrelevance similar to what we saw in the 1990s.

This. I laugh at the low I.Q. set that think Alleva and O have spotted some diamond in the rough hires that no one else could appreciate and that our program will suddenly shine with them at the helm. Like an OC that hasn’t run an offense since Clinton was president is suddenly going to “light it up”. LOL. Idiots.

I would be ecstatic. I hate the way the “search” was conducted and hate the way the Canada situation was handled.

If Ensminger lights it up, that means LSU wins a lot of games and hat makes me very happy

This exact thing was said last year about Orgeron. How did that work out? Pretty sure the only thing he tore up was the pride of many, after taking the Troy loss. I will never be upset with success, regardless of the pathetic route that was taken. I don't consider scoring points against the bottom feeders, but getting blanked by Bama, UGA,and Miami as a successful season by the way. I just want an offense that can score 20 points versus Bama.

I can't wait to see Brennan slinging it around the field, multiple WR looks, RPOs, the works ...

and tRant will still be miserable as ever.

If shite works, only the truly retarded ones will be complaining. Now how many are truly retarded is up for debate, but the majority of fans will be happy the Tigers finally have an intimidating offense.

But if they come out flat against Miami, watch out. This board will be miserable

I will be happy.

Of course, I'd have to wonder how we failed to utilize him for the last 8 years.

I think it all depends on how we do vs uga Miami Alabama, if we do better than his last outing 125 total yards and 0 points and we win those games we will be happy, but it was obvious in that game he was over matched. If he lays more goose eggs or the offense isn't able to sustain drives against talented teams will you guys eventually agree that we were right the whole time and not use the excuse we need another year

I’ve teared up on several occasions since Zeraux became head coach. Miss St and Troy come to mind.

True, no one twisted Ensminger's arm to be the OC but there were no candidates mentioned for OCs, with the exception of Tee Martin being mentioned and that was because he reached out to O, not the other way around. That leads me to believe there was very little, if any, search was made. I won't be mad, at all. I like Ensminger. I don't like O for putting Steve, seemingly forcing him into the position he's in now.

It seems these are somewhat conflicting statements.

How do you know this? Simply because nobody called to tell you or because it wasn't linked on the Rant? See the debacle at Tennessee because they had to ask for the fans' permission first.

If you think that, I've got a bridge to sell you. We just have to wait until it thaws to go look at it.
