They said no because Alleva is an idiot not because they didn’t initially wanna come. Herman was in Alleva against his wishes and promises leaked it to the press and played footsy with Jimbo so Herman said no thanks I’m not working under people like that. Jimbo would’ve come in 2015 but we all know what a cluster frick that became then he and Sexton just played us to extort FSU the next year. The common thread here is that Alleva and company run a messy disorganized ship and big time coaches won’t work in an atmosphere like this.

Chizik was a career loser but had an excellent OC in Malzahn, not someone that doesn't even want the job and hasn't done it full time in 20 years. So it still doesn't really compare to us.

Even still he needed a phenom to have a historic season to win his championship. It's easier to just get a coach that can win with good players than to hope a bad coach can get a generational player.

STOP. They both said no, get over it.

BTW, How did Herman do this year in Texas?

Your point is still very circumstantial, why can't "someone that doesn't even want the job and hasn't done it full time in 20 years" win a championship?

It's like your building a narrative to fit your point.

You still haven't named any 11-13 win coaches.

Because that fact suggests that's he's not very good at the job. You keep saying circumstantial, but some circumstantial evidence is very strong.

Not that it's literally impossible, you can find cases here and there to try and prove your point, but usually if a coordinator is really good at his job, someone is paying him well for that service.

Why stack the deck against yourself by hiring what's probably not a very good coach when winning is already very hard to do? It's not as if LSU doesn't have better options.

I don't have a point. I don't know anything, just like you don't know anything.

Our rhetoric differs because I reside in what is and you reside in what could've been. #reality #WAITANDSEE

I'll say this, I have more confidence in Ensminger as OC than I do in Orgeron as head coach.

But that’s the catch, Ensminger was hired so that Orgeron could meddle in the offense without any pushback.

I really don't have any confidence in either one. But you could say ensminger had more success as an OC than Orgeron has as a head coach.

I agree with that but he’s going to be nothing but a lightning rod to take hits for Orgeron. I think some fans know better but a lot of people will blame him over Orgeron if we struggle.

No doubt. My comment was just saying how little confidence I have in Orgeron.

Also kinda saying that if we do well it doesn't make anyone's concerns unwarranted.
