What do you feel is a standard tip for pizza delivery?

Just a basic order, a pizza or two. Not a large party when they’re bringing out a bunch. I just give $5. Probably 10 years ago it was either 2 or 3 bucks. You feel $5 is sufficient?

It’s based off how much the total is but for two pizzas from papa Johns family deal I generally tip between 5-7 bucks.

$5 is too much in my opinion. If I paid $30 for the pizza, I'm tipping $3. The pizza place is only about 2.5 miles from me and is a straight shot, though.

I try to do about 20%. $5 min, $10 for a bigger order. I'm not gonna miss the extra 5-10 bucks by the next day. If it helps keep more respectable workers on the roads, then it's worth it. I don't want felons delivering food to my door. How are you gonna be too lazy to go pick up your food, but then expect someone to personally deliver it to your doorstep in 2026 for a couple of dollars.

I just drive and get it. A lot less math.

If you cannot tip $5, go pick up your own pizza.
$5 to $7 is the right answer.

If it’s like a $20 order and it’s delivered timely I’ll throw in another 5 bucks

Domino's now asks for a tip on pick-up orders.

I always just give $5, but when questioning this just remember that Domino's has been running some a "we tip you" promotion.
They give you a $3 tip to use on future orders if you pick up your own pizza. They also have a "we'll give you a $3 "tip"/coupon if you tip the driver. Based on this, it would appear Domino's is saying $3 is adequate

There was a guy at the Government street Dominos who would ask you if you wanted to leave a tip while staring daggers into you. He never got shite from me, but it did take me aback the first time he asked. Really unprofessional, and I haven't seen him in a while.

They can ask, and I’ll say no.

Never understood this logic. The effort is pretty much the same. They're not delivering 25 lb dumbbells.
