My wife makes me take all of hers to Goodwill because apparently them throwing most of them away bothers her a lot less than just throwing them away herself. Sorry Goodwill.

I wear my clothes until they petty much wear out and aren't worth donating. They instead become shop rags.

Bag them up and take them to the Lovelady Thrift Store. It helps support a local women and children shelter. In fact, I need to clean out my closet of some older clothes right now.

Me too, but wife and daughter are dead set on supporting the garment industry until we wind up dead or in the poor house....and the odds are a six to a half dozen and pick 'em...

Keep them in the closet until my wife puts them in bags to take to goodwill. Problem is she never take it to goodwill so in throw them away.

My husband is losing weight so he had a bunch of 2X and 3X stuff that he spent a lot on. I didn’t realize how much Poncho shirts and tecovas jeans cost.

Typically Goodwill, but there is also a mission in our area that serves indigent/homeless folks.

Used to be Goodwill but now it's groups that use them for people in need.
My wife normally gives them to a women's shelter that helps unwed mothers and women starting over after abusive relationship type situations.

This why I said mostly. Sometimes I have old clothes that a homeless person would throw away.

I used to do the Goodwill drop offs but recently switched to VVA. Had some furniture to donate a few years back and they do pickups, threw some bags of clothes in there and have done it sense.

We have a local group of churches that run a food bank, help provide housing assistance, clothing assistance, etc. that we regularly donate clothes and non-perishables to.
On a few occasions, when they're doing a clothing drive, I'll take them to our local domestic violence shelter as well (here it's Center for Women and Families).
I've also donated to the local high school for their clothes closet as well.
I don't donate to Goodwill anymore. They just resell it and it's thrifters are shite going in and buying most of it.
