What do people think will change with Nuss? Daniels is better fit for this team.

Nuss may be a future starter at LSU. I think he’s a quality QB. However, with our offensive line being as weak as it is you need a QB with mobility and the ability to change blown up plays into something. Nuss would be getting destroyed back there. Let’s pump the breaks and see what happens here with Daniels. I know it’s only a select few calling for Nuss but seriously, it would be worse.

Nuss will pass. Stop with this nonsense of Nuss getting destroyed. Daniels makes the OL look bad by calling the wrong pass protection and not passing when he should.

Backup QB is usually the most popular man on the team when you aren't winning.

Mobile QBs usually get sacked more than good passing QBs. This Rant theory that mobile QBs offset sacks is not true. Getting rid of the ball on time limits sacks.

More passing yards with less rushing yards.

I actually understand starting Jayden. I would just like to see both play to form my own decision on what might be best for the offense. That is only a preference. I also understand that is why we have coaches. Have no problem with Jayden starting though. Hopefully he can continue to get better.

I'm sick of this kind of speculation.

It's rooted solely in baseless opinion. We'll never know how Nuss would have performed Sunday night. Stop guessing.

This isn't directed solely at those saying Nuss wouldn't have played well. There have been plenty of people saying he would have completed throws Daniels didn't. All that crap is useless speculation.

You say he would have gotten destroyed Sunday night. I could just as easily see a scenario where he's quick enough to sidestep the rush, keeps his eyes down field and makes some big plays. Or, he gets sacked 8 times and throws 2 picks.

None of that crap matters.

Let's just support the guy that's in there. Personally, I think we have 2 good quarterbacks and I trust that Kelly is going to play the one that gives us the best chance to win.

First play of the game Boutte was streaking down right sideline for deep TD.

Instead, Jayden didn’t see it and pulled the ball and ran for 20 yards.

Fans who haven’t seen the other angles, think this is a good play by Jayden but in reality a lot more yards and points were left on the table.

This is just one example.

Daniels is not seeing the field. He must some big plays, especially in the first half. I don't know if Nuss is any better because we haven't seen him.

The way Daniels runs he won't make it long in SEC play before getting hurt.

Biggest thing would be reading defenses and the only reason I say that is because he’s the son of a longtime offensive/QB coach.

What's low IQ about my guy's post? It's just an opinion. He could be correct. You don't know. Nobody knows for sure.

This is my default condition on most of our coaches - especially early.

It takes a long time - and lots of data - to develop a credible analysis of the situation.

I was hoping to be enthralled - like in '19. - that was a pipe dream.

Reality set in early.

The first play of the game the LT got blown up immediately, forcing Daniels to take off. What the frick are you talking about.

there is a good reason both your #1 WR dont expect or look for the ball being thrown to them

he cant do it in practice and he sure as hell isnt doing it live on the field, that is the problem a real QB not looking to run all the time gives you.

you cannot justify WR quitting on the team, but you also cannot ignore they have good reason to feel the way they do

Not really a good example. On that play, Campbell got pushed back into the pocket, which is why Daniels ran left to the open space.
