Don’t put Anderson in to pitch in pressure relief situations

Leave Milam in

Let Neal sit if he’s not catching - he’s not bringing offense or outfield defense

Give Millazo more playing time - he gives quality at bats and defense

Give Hurd a shorter leash

Find pitchers who can throw strikes with 3-0 counts. Find guys who can hit with runners on base.

Problem solved. LOL

2. Let Milam battle through his slump. His defense is superior and he seems to have an “it” factor.

I'm not saying I disagree with you, but why does Milam get the chance to battle through his slump and Kling doesn't? Both play exceptional defense, have the talent, and are really struggling offensively. So what makes Milam different at the moment?

I honestly like the potential of both, just curious what separates one from the other.

Batting in the 3-4 hole with no one on base is not much different than batting 2nd with no one on base.

Agree with Milazzo playing more. Pearson is a veteran hitter and I would have him in the lineup more as well. Neal has struggled with SEC pitching. Let him catch mid week and get his bat going again. Milam has hit some shots right at guys. You have to think some of those will start finding the grass.

Ultimately you may have to sacrifice defense in CF and move Bingham there so Frey can get more AB’s and switch between DH and RF (if he can throw with the shoulder). I hate to sacrifice defense in the OF but we have to start hitting the baseball.

Can Pearson not play CF? I thought he was the fastest player on the team?

Against RH hitters. Just setting him up to fail, and it’s happened twice. I feel bad for the kid.

Other teams are dictating late-game matchups because lsu has very little flexibility with RHP v LHP

I’m not concerned about pitching at all.

I had concerns about the lineups speed coming into the year, they are always going to be feast or famine when it comes to the long ball.

Can Kling or Neal put the ball in play? I didn’t think that would be as big of a problem as it is.

I think it’s gotten to the point where you gotta say frick it and play Milazzo at catcher, at least he can take pitches and move runners.

I'd be willing to bet in hindsight CJJ himself would've done some things differently.

Why? This weekend Brasswell was 3 of 8 batting (0.375), OBP was 0.615. Got on base 8 of 13 PAs (if I counted right), had 1 RBI, and scored 1 Run.

I think they were all swinging for the fences this weekend.

Happened last year too, and we saw corrections.

Once you figure out who has some nuts on this team.

Bingham in Center
Frey (if can throw in left)/ Pearson/ Larson/ Brown (if Frey injured)
Pearson in right
Milam at second
Travinski/Milazzo behind the plate.
Combo of Trav/Frey/Larson at DH

F. Holman
S. Jump
Sun. Coleman or Anderson
Hurd/Anderson/Ack/Coleman/Guidry/Ulloa in relief.

Pray Noot and Shores come back healthy.

Play the younger players now. That's the adjustments. Brown, kicharek, Larson. Find a way.

I really do think you have to have some emphasis on giving time to those that are your future

You need those program guys. Several made the difference last year. You don't have Skenes and Crews to make up for the SS that can't help you offensively.

CJJ was forced to see the writing on the wall in these first 2 SEC series. I expect he will reset his goals and expectations accordingly. The fanbase won't.

i want Hurd out as much as the next guy. The problem is who you replace him with. Anderson was great against SELU but has struggled mightily against SEC opponents.
