it's only natural to remain highly skeptical. Spin it and call it negative if it makes you feel better. Ensminger hasn't developed quarterbacks or substantially run an offense in a very long time. He did a nice job last season in the interim though, so I have to credit him there. He may do an awesome job, and Oldman Sullivan may be the perfect compliment. This we will root hard for.

Or maybe the offense Will be very very good. We will see.

I like the offense SE and Slullivan are talking about and the talent they have to work with is very good also, so a very potent offense wouldn't surprise me

I'm not worried about OWM Ensminger. He's been around the block enough that he should full well know what it's going to take to beat Bama and win the SEC West. Heaven help him (And LSU Football) if he doesn't. All those years on the LSU staff and not one of those Offenses and Playbooks were his. Hopefully, he has learned something.

The LSU WR's will be light years more prepared and developed under OWM Sullivan. They'll actually be coached up to the Max now. (Just keep MJ out on the road recruiting talented WR's and away from the practice field)

Not worried about E or S.

Not worried about Myles Brennan either.

I AM Worried about his backup if he gets injured. I AM worried about the OL minus Will Clapp and the overall talent level across the board. It aint there yet. New OL Coach Cregg will be more important than both Ensminger or Sullivan. Can he teach that mediocre bunch how to consistently pass block? No Clapp =

Semjackass (BRAVEHEART) at it again! In his world everyone white is good. Everyone black is bad. As shown in this post. The one white starter on the OL leaving means the rest are a mediocre bunch. Despite the fact two freshmen started and played well. And many felt Brumfield was the best on the OL. No mention of Washington.

To him Be ennan is great but his backups Narcisse and Mcmillan bring worry. Emsinger and Sullivan will do great. Keep the other wide receiver coach Joseph away from the receivers.

In this fool’s world blacks don’t even rate a name in his spiel. Only whites have names in his warped mind. Virtually every post he makes is a denigration of black players or coaches. I know his posts even before I ever see his name. I can imagine his hatred spewed against blacks on the political board.

I still hope he doesn’t hold a job that affects the lives of black people. The concern is chances are he does. I hate to even think that he is a police officer, judge, or teacher.

You think he goes 10-2 or better next season? Because that’s the minimum.

if that is your minimum, you do not have any sense of reality....or do not know much about football.

9-3 would be a super year
10-2 an incredible one .. NOT A MINIMUM|

So this says Aranda thinks SE is better play caller than Canada? Or is that another quote that you are not going to link us to?

he has no links. just his verbal diarrhea he spews forth daily as ponamsky tells him to

Well, if it's any consolation, Aranda believes Ensminger is a better play caller than Canada, and he should know since he schemed against both their offenses the past two seasons. Not to mention, there has been a strong rumor ever since O first mentioned Ensminger in that press conference immediately after the A&M game that it was Ensminger who called the plays in that game, and that was LSU's best offensive outing by far last season, as Etling had over 300 yards passing in that game. I don't know if that rumor is true but a lot of people believe it is true because it explains why O threw out his name immediately following that game. Not to mention, that O never wavered since, as he said Ensminger back then and it ended up being Ensminger. Furthermore, O, Aranda, and Ensminger are The Three Musketeers as they are all each other's best friends. I see it as O surrounding himself with the two people he trusts and respects the most, which can only be a good thing. A lot of people believe O is a bumbling idiot who doesn't have the first freaking clue what he is doing. Thus, they see it as O being a retard. In any event, Ensminger proved that he can take someone else's playbook and learn it almost instantly, as he did with Mile's playbook in 2016. And if that rumor is true, he learned Canada's playbook too and called the plays in the A&M game. Hence, it should be easy for him to learn and install that RPO offense with three to four wideouts he says he is planning to install, and O said it is going to be a lot easier for the players to learn as compared to the Canada offense. Finally, as he said, he is very familiar with the players and their capabilities that are on this team and he said it because he believes he is the best person available to tailor an offense that will match their capabilities. Hence, I have a lot of confidence in his abilities, not only because O endorses him, but because Aranda endorses him as well.

Good stuff right here. I’m on board.

WE lose two starters off a thin o-line, our entire backfield, and the one unit we retain for the most part (WR) was awful this year. I see little reason for optimism on that side of the ball.

Defense returns some talent, though.

Installing an offense is very different than calling plays in an already installed offense.

It's highly unlikely that Ensminger is capable of installing a any new offense that he's never run before.

I predict that our offense will look very similar to last year's offense under Ensminger sprinkled with a few RPOs here and there that don't really make an impact.

Well unfortunately I typically don’t involve myself in group-think. I’m able to gather my own info and make decisions on myself.

Bingo, dumbass miles recruited dual threat, primarily shotgun qbs (to run an offense mainly from under center) that couldn't read defenses and couldn't go through progressions. They left and didn't succeed elsewhere either. Hard to develop a qb like Harris, he shite himself when he got under the lights in the SEC. Not saying all dual threat qb's can't be developed , just the ones we had/signed/recruited. Jefferson, Jennings and Harris. Perriloux was a good dual threat just couldn't stay out of trouble.
