No idea, but this team is allergic to everything baseball related, so it could be any number of things.

Thats a serious reaction if so. If nausea and vomiting I’d be more concerned about anaphylaxis.

Actually no. N/V are mild and usually initial reactions with a food allergy. If it’s not a food allergy, then N/V can be a sign of hypotension, which is a sign of anaphylaxis.

Actually, yes. Gastrointestinal symptoms plus involvement of one other body system meets diagnostic criteria for anaphylaxis with or without vitals instability. Seeing as neither you or I were there to evaluate him, we don’t know what other symptoms he had. But the actual life-threatening condition leads the differential until it’s ruled out
