I'll try and keep my earbuds in, but Damn why do people get married during football season!

I agree 100%.
That is just poor planning.
And I am dead serious.

If it’s your wedding ok
If not why is this a must attend event?

Because they’re assholes that ignore the unwritten rules of southern culture.
Also could be doomed from the start by marrying one of those “I don’t give a f about Fkin football !” chicks.

I got married during football season but I made the wife pick a bye weekend and it had to be a Friday night. It’s not that hard to figure out!

Nobody is so close to you that you have to go to that wedding. Tell them to frick off, they'll still be married the next day.
Hopefully anyway.

If you are even considering keeping earbuds in, that means you do not have to attend

Every fall wedding I’ve gone to that was during an LSU game at least had the courtesy to have a tv somewhere with the game playing during the reception.

close family friend's son, my son is in the wedding, etc, if it was a casual friend there's no way I'd go...I "think" the bride planned it all and was told to pick an "away" game....bet Jeez
