No.. you can objectively call it like you see it. When the team isn’t playing well, it’s ok for fans to point out possible causes for concern, as well as things that the team does well. There are way to many people that think the only two options are blindly bashing the team or blindly praising them.

We’re staring 9-21 in the face which will be 14th in the SEC in a sport we are easily the best program since 1980. Yes it’s that bad given LSUs baseball resources which basketball doesn’t currently have.

Nah, because they aren't all bad. This teams lacks something important... and that's pitchers that can handle a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday start and be well above average.
But in general, this team is beyond bad. Just hoping for a better 2027 season.

The pitching is bad and the portal guys are bad but the recruiting class last year looks elite. Will be an interesting offseason. We need a ton of portal talent to turn this around. Pearson isn’t a sec 3rd baseman, a great DH but you can’t rely on him defensively. I think you have to look at moving Serna to 1B. But we don’t have a Friday guy, SS, 3rd baseman or CF on this roster for next year if things go as predicted. I don’t love Braun in left, Fine with him at first but not if it pushes Pearson to 3rd. We have to get better defensively and losing Milam makes that really difficult.

This LSU baseball season is rhe equivalent of Ohio State football going 4-8 or 3-9. It wouldn’t be tolerated.
