a little bit of Johnny Manziel except better. He is elusive for sure. Glad he is with the Tigers !

Or as someone else said, "like a squirrel and Adderall"

Please no. Manziel was one of the most overhyped players I can remember. Don't know why the media loved him so much other than his personality made for good reporting.

Johnny won the Heisman

LSU just owned him. He was deadly vs everyone else. Sammy Football’s run style is very similar imho.

In college? What? You're going to have to show your work.

More like Baker Mayfield to me, from OK days. Without the assholishness.

I see him more as a Bo Nix type although the jerkiness of his cuts and the way his body moves is more like a more athletic Baker Mayfield (as the broadcast compared him to).
I see a little Johnny football also.

His running style is so different from Jayden's; but it clearly works. I was kind of shocked to see it live

He can’t. He’s just dumb

Leavitt runs like Daniels.
Once they escape the rush, they both rely on speed rather than moves or size.
Once they escape the rush, they usually make just one cut.
Like Daniels, Leavitt knows precisely when to make the important cut.

Let’s see top competition and if he can generate a strong passing game

How well did Manziel do in the pros. Must not have been a great college QB if he couldn't win as a pro. The Heisman is a popularity contest, not an achievement award.

His scrambling definitely reminded me of Johnny, but Johnny was also a good passer. The sample size for Sam right now isn't enough to determine that.
