I like the "squirrel on Adderall" comment, but Manziel was more that way then Sam is. The 9:40 mark on this video shows it.

Manziel more like a squirrel on Adderall

But I still remember this part of it all where the D pounded him all day and LITERALLY dropped their nuts on him. 2:57:00 mark

Dropping them

Sorry, not sure how to hold the starting point if it isn't setup right.

Looks like leavitt is doing some stuff to confuse defenders and make them bite on a bad tackle / go the wrong way versus just purely speed by

It seemed to work really well against Clemson - you see their players seemingly tripping or falling down and just letting him by. But curious if part of it was poor tackling discipline on their end too, and how well this works against other teams

I am also slightly worried if that type of running style might injury risk since it doesn’t seem smooth at all

His escapability in the pocket reminds me of Burrow.

He also had a lot of outside issues and personal issues that kept him from succeeding after college

Johnny Manziel sucked. Dude was the most overrated CFB player ever.

Mike Evans and Sumlin’s system made Manziel. Hell he couldn’t stand in the pocket and make throws. He had to run around and improvise. It was all highlights.

Hopefully he has the winning record unlike Johnny against us

Please no. Manziel was one of the most overhyped players I can remember. Don't know why the media loved him so much other than his personality made for good reporting

Well that and the 5,000 yards of total offense and 45+ TDs per year that he put up.

Aggies were 2 single score losses (combined 8 points) away from winning the 2012 national championship. (They too would have embarrassed Notre Dame, and I think a 1 loss A&M gets left out.)
