Hey Jackass, it’s mid-July!

If you’re so damn cool, why are you on this board at 10:00 o’clock on a a Sunday night?

In other words, Bleaux Me!

I was at that game! I was on the phone with my wife with less than 2 minutes to go and I, as well as every LSU fan around weren't sure LSU was going to win that game.

It was a great game and pretty even, every time we scored, it was answered.

Hot as balls, but a heck of a game.

Before the 3rd and 17 Terrance Marshall came close to fumbling giving the ball back to Texas. Also, Texas should have recovered the onside kick.

LSU was head and shoulders the better team but Texas was playing well that night.

suspensions and injuries all season hurt the defense until the end. In years past, the suspension crap where you had to serve the games consecutively may have resulted in a loss or 2 in 2019. That you can thank Woodward for.

Yeah, that's cool, but ideally you'd like to a) get your starter out as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary injuries (with a QB like Burrow who took a lot of hits this is key), and b) you want to get your backups, who was in line to take over the next year, as much game time experience as possible.

It worked out, so whatever.

I recall how hot it was on gameday. Watched in the hotel bar of the place we were staying at in Austin w/ a bunch of UT fans. Man they were some kind of pissed off after the game after talking sh*t all game. Scattered like cockroaches. LSU fans about emptied the bar thereafter. That was a fun time. Felt we were going to win but 3rd and 17 certainly help me relax a bit.

Often times on my lunch break I'll find a full game video or highlights from one of the '19 games.

I really like football and that was the best

that's one of the things that separated that team from others.

Onside kicks were terrifying that year, even though they didn't cost us. Between Texas, Auburn and Alabama, it felt like one was going to bite us in the arse.

It didn’t feel as close because you knew the ending. Simple as that. The 2nd half was a stressful-as-shite offensive slugfest until 3rd & 17. I was their, it was a close game.

Alabama executed their onside kick perfectly. Just an all time catch by Jefferson saved that.
