I can’t imagine getting shite canned with a smile on my face. There’s nothing that should warrant getting fired for doing a terrible job and then rewarded with insane financial security. I would hope riding other people’s coattails like that wouldn’t sit well with me.

This 100%. This team is stacked full of of studs who will be unstoppable once they gel and get their feet underneath them. But yeah, until then there’ll be some difficult games to watch. Jay has no clue who he can trust yet. That was obvious this weekend. I’ll trust his process, though, since I certainly haven’t ever won a single game, much less the whole CWS.

Love this, OP. I was as pissed as anybody at his play but not at him. His first AB I got chills from the support everyone showed. He sucked a rock all tournament until his back was against the wall. He showed up in a big way last night. Props to the young man.

It’s early Sunday morning, we are 7-1 in our last 8 SEC games, we’ve been ranked #1 all year, and some of you are still melting over last night’s game. I love seeing the passion from some of you folks, but geezus, how about a little perspective! It’s sports, shite happens from time to time.

This. Anytime a flag is picked up it is supposed to be explained over the microphone in order to avoid this exact thing. The ref did not give the hand signal and wave over his head, and no audible explanation was given for why the flag was picked up. Protocols were not followed and Birmingham needs to step in and explain why the flag was picked up. I’m more of a fan of incompetence versus conspiracy, but it’s not a huge stretch to see some things that happen in the SEC as conspiratorial.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. The program has been a shitshow for the last couple years and these kids don’t know how to handle winning or expectations. 90% of the fan base can splooge on themselves about beating Ga and a CFP birth all week long but shame on these kids for doing the same? Give me a break. Anyone with even a little objectivity knew last night’s result wasn’t just possible, but likely. At least now our chances of beating Ga have risen from 2% to 6%. There’s no pressure and they can get back to undistracted football.

Watching the sky came is only a good idea if you’re trying to give yourself a brain aneurysm. Missing open receivers is going to happen for every quarterback, but geezus does it have to be multiple plays on every drive for our guy? You can clearly see the frustration of the receivers every drive. It sucks that this is the best we can do at QB right now according to BK.

It didn’t feel as close because you knew the ending. Simple as that. The 2nd half was a stressful-as-shite offensive slugfest until 3rd & 17. I was their, it was a close game.
