I heard Joe Dean speak one time in a prayer breakfast after he had retired from being LSU's athletic director and you are hitting the nail on the head. He said when he walked out into tiger stadium and saw about 40,000 fans against Ole Miss with Dinardo being the coach. He knew that change had to be made. That's how you do it. You don't sell concessions you sure tickets have been already paid for. Parking permits have been paid for, but when you go out and you don't show up for the game and then you realize programs are not being sold. Concessions are not being sold. Jodean said that is what gets an ad's attention. You are right my sir

10 years ago, I could see many saying we need to go to support the players even if the coach sucks.

Since they are now bought and paid for mercenaries and could likely give a rats arse about LSU if a higher bidder comes, then I say don’t show up.

That’s the whole point. Put fear in their lives that future tickets won’t be paid for.

Never going to happen. People support the team no matter what. There may be a dip but nothing significant.

Team quit. Fans should quit too.
I support this boycott. But LSU fans love to tailgate as do myself. We shall see. Hope LSU fans make a statement.

I’ll be there supporting the Tigers just as I did back in the lean years of Archer, Hallman and DiNardo

They’ll care when merch and concession sales fall off a cliff. Lower TV ratings will lead to loss in media revenue as well.

You can tailgate without going to the game. Stay in your tailgate spot watching another game. ULM fans did that for years because the tailgate atmosphere was amazing but the game itself wasn’t

Anyone know how much LSU makes in concessions sales?

They get 30% off the top. So, anywhere from around $150&180k a game.

If they get demolished at Bama, you won’t have to organize a boycott. A 3-game losing skid in the heart of the season for the second straight year, with Arkansas coming into town…DV will be empty anyway.

The players have quit, and most fans have too.

No boycott needed to try to organize what will occur naturally.
