re: Wade worst coach of big three.

This has absolutely nothing to do with effort. Which is something this team is lacking. You can teach almost anyone to rebound.
Our rebounding issue stem from having to over rotate on defense because of mistakes and also lack of effort at times. Gotta clean that up for sure.

Coaching includes many different aspects. A lot of some can make up for a lack of others.
But it's become clear that Wade is an excellent recruiter, but not much of an in-game tactician.
Our "offense" consists of guys standing still on the perimeter and waiting for one guy to penetrate. Occasionally there's a high ball screen, but it's lazy and ineffective. Also we occasionally run a weave 30-feet out, but it accomplishes nothing.
I was BEGGING to us to actually use an offensive set to get the ball down low to Naz, and we only did it in the last 5 minutes.
Also, the accountability of the players is now an issue, because our guys often heave up bad shots, and the lack of effort rebounding is just shocking.
So I'm still hopeful with Wade, but we've seen enough of a sample size to see what we have, at least in-game. And it's not good.

The lack of O rebounding and refusing to get the ball inside are very alarming.
You can't go 9+ minutes without scoring
I don't really disagree too much. Houston came out in the second half and overwhelmed a bunch of true freshmen. We still only have 3 returning players from last season. They have time to figure it out be for conference play. There are still things Wade is trying to learn about this team and teach these younger guys how to play at this level. Sometimes it takes longer for some than others.

LSU fans are truly the worst. Zero patience. Rome wasn't built in a day. This is year 2 of a program that was absolutely cratered by the previous coach.

How many shots did will wade miss?

Almost sounds like the football offense

Our offense is stagnant and we were hoisting up 3s, but Wade didn't change the offense to punch it down low to Naz until the last 5 minutes.
So yes, the coach doesn't miss the shots himself, but he's responsible for everything that occurs on the floor. It's the same for any coach, or leader of a company or organization. The buck stops with the top dog.

What? This board has always been full retard. This is not some new phenomenon.

When players play well, coaches get credit. When players play poorly, coaches get the blame. There are ways to get the players better/easier shots when they are struggling. Will Wade got outcoached last night and the players got out played by a good team rising the second longest home winning streak in the country. It happens and I get the frustration, but it's not time to burn this thing to the ground. Year 2 of a rebuild. The things take time.

Do you think that this thing hasn't been turned around already?

All I'm gonna say is, there is a whole hell of a lot more to it than just recruiting talent(that is a good starting point but you have to organize it and coach it) and last night it was very evident of there was a lack of coaching. Nothing against WW but he is lacking. In the most critical junctures of the game when you need set plays to free guys up for high percentage shots and all you got were contested 30 ft. 3 pointers.

He’s the only one of the big three that inherited a dumpster fire. He’s done a ton for LSU basketball in his short time here on and off the court. I’m willing to give him a lot more time than the short sighted fans that are wanting him fired.

These kids have been branded Superstars their entire lives, now they have to learn to be part of a team. Some have adapted, some havent. Some are here, just to be here, and will be gone. Some of these bigs look as though theyve never played in the paint before. We need a remedial rebounding coach.

This is funny considering you also posted this...

The offense showed up in overtime. The defense had 7 chances to close the game. Taking the lead in overtime multiple times and depending on Aranda's d to close it out I was confident but he failed.
