I saw chemistry the 1st half, not much the 2nd half. 1st half looked like a championship team. These things happen in sports. Be patient, enjoy this group of guys. There's too many Chicken Littles posting. Season is early. Coach Wade will fix this. I'm looking forward to a fun season.

Wade has addressed & admitted to the glaring problems with this team in his press conferences. That’s a start. You’ll prob regret this thread in a month

Hopefully, the Rant can hold off on firing him for 1 season.

The gap between the job at hand in football as opposed to basketball was like the Grand Canyon. Coach Wade Inherited a massive rebuild and Coach O inherited a nationally ranked team coming off yrs of top recruiting efforts. Both coach O and Joe stated that no rebuild was needed in LSU football, but just a better offense and continued top level recruiting.

Labeling Coach Wade as anything at this point in time is way too premature. imo

Agreed.... LSU fans are the worst in the country.... I mean when is the last time they have been relevant in BBALL?????? Throwing the coach under the bus after a road game against a good team... crazy.....

The coaching job last night certainly warrants some harsh criticism. Not the point of firing him of course, but coaching absolutely lost that game.

No problem with that... Its not like he has a veteran team he is starting...... Now Waters is a different story... Something is off there.... they will still make the tourney and be way better next year.......

Yep, 100%. I'm a huge Will Wade fan, but that doesn't mean he can't be criticized when it's obvious that he's made mistakes. It's a young team, but it's his job too get them to play quality basketball, together as a team. I just think it's too early in the season to be writing the team and/or the coach off.

No. No he's not.

Give Wade time to mesh the team. Wade actually has a good history, though short.

Orgeron is the worst of the big three and it isn't close. Like, light years behind.

One thing about this board... we are colllectively an impatient bunch that is quick to over-react to any good or bad team experience. Case in point-- Last year, Wade did a hell of a great job recruiting-- the TRantards wanted a statue built, assured a final 4 finish and predicted the emergence of LSU basketball as a national powerhouse. Now, a few losses into season, TRant calls him the worst of big 3 and questions his ability.

News flash-- in any sport, in any college, a change of regimes will bring growing pains and setbacks. Wade certainly deserves some time. Worst case scenario-- he is fired and our team is stacked with great recruits. Best case-- a statue is built, final 4s are commonplace and LSU is the new national powerhouse along side Duke and Kentucky.

I’m not one to point fingers at any particular person or group in a loss, but when you shoot 27% in the half and go almost 10 minutes without a FG i’m certainly not going to put all the blame on the coach.

A huge part of that drought was from Waters just jacking shite up early in the possession. That's coaching. Call a time out. Sit him down. Do something.

How does this get downvotes?

I am not much for blaming players ,BUT if you get put into a situation to score you should..... Blaming the coach only goes so far... Wade will be fine.... Most LSU fans want INSTANT success....

We play three guards and our center is a three-point shooter. We have to shoot way better to win games

All I know is Wade has been talking shite about how the NIT ain't good enough this year but that's where they'll be if he doesn't get his shite together. This ain't a tournament team at the moment.

Good thing it's not tournament time then I suppose. This is a lot like baseball. These games are used to make your team better when it is tournament time. It's not even Christmas yet.
