No way they give this guy total freedom to be in control of a 300 million dollar business. He will be told what to do and say no problem.

You think the AD from McNeese or SLU would've been different? Or better? Because those were our options.

Landry has made it clear that he will control every aspect of LSU for the foreseeable future. To be honest, I think he was controlling it when BK was coach too.

What do you have to base this on? Stop being an assuming bitch. Hes been dedicated to LSU so at least give him a chance.

And if he is a yes man, then maybe he will say yes to the people willing to pay the fricking coaches what it takes..

Yesterday you were probably in the "no way they make him AD" camp. Now you say he's just a yes man..

Door number 3 was there. That’s the one where we don’t push out Tate, Kelly still gets fired, and Scott Woodward remains LSU’s AD.

We have the best governor ever (BGE). He takes his inspiration for the best president ever (BPE). Together they will pick the best coach ever (BCE).

We will win the next 20 natty....under BPE and BGE's leadership.

It sounds like they told him what would happen.

It’s a disaster, akin to Gayle with the Saints and Pels.

His President (Rousse), Board of Supervisors, and eventually the Governor. Scott Woodward was butting heads with Landry. Tate was also basically told to find another job by Landry. Jeff Landry eventually won this power struggle. He was always going to win it eventually. He just needed excuses(even if justified) to get rid of Woodward. Politicians involve themselves in state schools all over this country. The difference here is Landry loves to make everything public. It’s done now. I do not expect Verge to be anywhere near as independent minded as Woodward. He will do as he is told or he will be out quickly like Tate and Woodward.

Scott was always tied to BK.

He doesn’t get to spend another 100m after he threw away the first

that is what he has always been for decades. He has had a job at LSU because he has done what he has been told to do.
