Louisville put up more points on Miss St today than we did. Does that mean you are worried about Louisville?

So you know what you posted was absolutely meaningless, but you posted it anyway.

Northwestern State was beating LSU 7-3 in the first quarter. I guess that means that Northwestern should have been heavily considered for the playoffs.

Clemson beat A&M by 14, and LSU beat them by 43. I'm not worried about what's happening tonight. We can go on all day making comparisons. LSU is still getting better, and the Florida game was NOT nearly as close as the score indicated.

Personally I'm not that worried about what the 4th or 5th best SEC team is doing in their bowl game

They’ll wear them down in the 2nd half. Strong running game does that.

Florida is not playing with the same intensity, seems kinda lethargic.

LSU beat 6 teams in Top 10 (3 teams were in Top 5)...

Clemson has only beat 1 team in Top 10 (OSU)...

And you're nervous.

Who do you think would win the following matchups:

OU vs Virginia
Baylor vs Virginia
Oregon vs Virginia
Auburn vs Virginia
Alabama vs Virginia
Ohio State vs Virginia
Penn State vs Virginia
Wisconsin vs Virginia
Michigan vs Virginia

This list could go on and on and on.....and you would probably not pick Virginia to win any of these matchups. They are not good. Florida simply doesn't give a damn about this game. I really don't care if Florida loses (in fact I hope they do), but it won't be bc Virginia is legit.

Virginia is arguable the second best team Clemson beat so far and best in conference. Florida is the 4th or 5th best LSU has beaten.

It is the Orange Bowl and a home game for the Gators! I think they are very happy to be playing in this game?

This is one of those problematic side effects of the playoff system. And I promise ya, expanding the field to 8 teams ain't the solution.

Setting up the CFP immediately diminished the pageantry of every single non-CFP bowl for the season. Now we have players not even caring enough to play one last time for their own team because it's essentially meaningless.

Unintended consequences I guess.

If LSU played Florida again today they’d win 49-17. This team is playing on a different level, especially on the defensive side, since the Ole Miss game/Delpit sat out Arkansas week to get healthy. My point being don’t take too much away from bowl games involving teams we played prior to that

Why the hell would you not care about playing your best in the orange Bowl? This is fricking stupid. If you can't get excited about a big time game, quit the sport.
