I don’t put much faith in the “transitive” theory, but I’d note that Auburn (23), Moo State (36) and Jawja (37) were the 3 defenses that held the Tigers to less than 40 points. Take a look at how those 3 did against ACC competition.

I get the point, but invalid thought. The transitive property doesn't work too well across multiple weeks. LSU in its current stride, with a fresh and healthy D, would dump on Florida in a rematch. For that matter, this team would dump on any pre-Bama team more than it did. Perfect example is if we replayed Texas.
Also, this win would be the highlight of UVAs year. For Florida, who cares? Not them too much

Exactly. Florida has dominated this game. Perkins has made some outstanding plays, but it really hasn’t been close.

If it makes you feel any better, Clemson beat aTm 24-10 while LSU beat them 50-7 and was able to take Burrow out early.

And last year UGA got beat by UT in the Sugar when they clearly had bigger bowl hopes and didn't show up to win. It happens in a LOT of bowl games. Welcome to college football.
