Bogus “NCAA Sanctions” story

At least TWO different Ole Miss Facebook pages have been posting an utterly false story about LSU being hit with NCAA sanctions as a consequence of ethical violations in the course of negotiations to hire Lane Kiffen. It looks an awful lot like an effort to scare off Tiger recruits.
How do y’all think Rebel recruiting might fare, if social media posts began to include dozens and dozens of photos of Vaught-Hemmingway stadium with Confederate flags everywhere? (A brief google search would provide lots of such images.)

They have a history of running up scores whenever they are in a mismatch.
I see LSU scoring no more than 10, while OU scores no less than 48-52.

If Tisdale had not dropped that easy TD last night LSU would be 6-5 & facing a blowout in Norman. A bowl game will be an embarrassment which can only hurt recruiting for whoever coaches next.

ESPN commentators repeatedly said that Frank had played at “Perry High School in New Orleans”.
I’m sure this annoyed more than a few of his fellow Purple Knights alumni.
(He did coach for a while at O. Perry Walker, I believe.)

Did the Tigers ever forfeit a game during the Charles McClendon years? If so, why?
It’s possible LSU’s attorneys might argue that the “cause” for firing Kelly might be his handling of Greg Brooks’ illness, and the financial exposure that brought against LSU. [I’m not saying it’s a winning argument, just that it’s possibly what they may claim.]

Good God - someone just asked why I thought this story might be relevant to Tiger rant, so I suggested possible involvement of multiple players from our arch rivals - now I’m the “lowest form of scum”.
