Pelini has also come forward with allegations that Ed has allowed him to be raped by multiple OCs and done nothing

All you people aren’t taking this seriously and aren’t disturbed are the same idiots that would be the first talking smack about another school if it happened to them.

And all the Biden stuff in threads...the butt hurt is strong for you, losers. Join the proud boys, you delusional POS!

Yeah... regardless of if LSU handled it correctly or not, this is a terrible look.

It seems to me the LSU administration didn’t follow procedures.

Reading is too complex for some of these people and instead they just want to interject some political bullshite completely unrelated to LSU’s athletic department and it’s employees violating federal law.

The story isn’t about sexual assault on campus, it’s about LSU ignoring accusations and not reporting them in the proper manner they should have. Story names Verge Ausberry, Mickey Joseph, Michael and Julia Sell, who are the women’s tennis coaches, Miram Segar, athletic trainers, etc. It’s a massive allegation on LSU’s athletic department that is similar to what happened with Baylor and Michigan State.

I hope you’re not referring to me. I just think T Bob is a huge fraud and a bitch

LSU looks really bad here. It’s a cultural issue and they need to get it fixed. This is going to be pretty rough, unfortunately

You do know none of these employees can discuss these cases because the accusers have all filed lawsuits.
Discussing these issues would jeapordize the cases from a legal standpoint.

Is it a bad look ? Sure, but this story will go away soon. LSU needs to do better though.

That’s not really good enough

Tom Galligan, Scott Woodward, Verge Ausberry, Bo Bahnsen, Miriam Segar, and Coach O need to be formulating a press conference immediately to announce a thorough evaluation of their process for handling these situations.

This can spiral very, very quickly. Luckily for them, Galligan is only an interim, Woodward wasn’t here, and Ed wasn’t HC when the Guice stuff went down but you need to take this extremely serious. Hopefully this can lead to the long needed house cleaning of the compliance dept.

It seems like the schools either overreact to Title IX by taking harsh actions against the accused based solely on the accusations OR they decline to report and investigate as required.

Example of the former: kid in school has sex with his ex-gf - in the woman-on-top position. She complains it was non-consensual (because her then boyfriend found out about it) and reported the ex. The ex is suspended "on an interim basis," which means that you lose so much time in school you might as well leave.

The Title IX coordinator for the school could not answer my question: "How can sex with the woman on top be non-consensual?" No drugs or alcohol were involved.

Makes jokes if y’all want to but nearly the same type of things happened at Baylor and heads rolled at the highest levels. University President, Head Coach. Lawsuit after lawsuit. Athletic penalties. And that was just the tip of the iceberg. It was a 5 year ordeal that consumed the University and its Athletic Department. This is not good.

Does "kicked off the team" not count as discipline?

Because except for a few, all those players were kicked off the team.

Most of these players were kicked off the teams

Almost all of the allegations were known by police and there is no evidence that LSU did anything to cover them up.

Comparing this to Baylor is ignoring basic easily discoverable facts.
