You yourself know this is not on that level.

USAToday abandoned all pretenses to serious journalism when they published Wolken's article trying to somehow link the Funes case to 2019 LSU

I think it is one thing to say: LSU needs to be responsible for these kids actions

It’s another to say; LSU is at fault when these kids do something wrong.

There is no credible evidence that LSU covered anything up. And the police were public ally involved in The cases involving Davis, Parker, Provens, Godchaux, and Phillips.

We know the facts of the Guice case and what’s alleged. We know nothing about Delpit other than the one line.

There is not a pattern of LSU covering anything up.

I agree, and if I felt LSU was systematically covering up for players I’d be upset but where are any facts that they didn’t do that properly? (Aside from Guice but that’s been talked about)

Phillips the police said it was credible.
Godchaux’s charges were dropped like the next day

Of the 9: 5 of them either left the school or were suspended. Idk what more LSU Football should do at that point.

USA Today ignored facts, and basically wrote an opinion piece.

by "Biden stuff" you mean the facts about the sexual assault allegation against Biden by a former dem staffer and the corroboration video by her mother from 20 years ago.

There are some pretty clear examples of LSU either acting slowly or not at all with title ix complaints.

That’s not an lsu football issue necessarily, that’s a university issue.

That’s an every university issue.

It’s an issue at every level prosecuting allegations of this nature.

Dude both tennis coaches knew about Guice & did nothing

Verge Ausbery had a confession from drake Davis that he punched his girlfriend & did nothing

Davis was practicing with the team.

Ausberry deleted the text messages when it is university protocol to keep them for 5 years.

Did you even read the story Sammy?

I agree. But it needs to be addressed.

LSU has the opportunity to make a statement and make significant changes to their protocols. I don’t care about not giving USA Today documents but I do care if they’re saying “hey, nothing is wrong here”.

Brennan drank “way too much,” she told USA TODAY[/b]. At the end of the night, Dudley dropped her off at her apartment, which was in the same complex where Guice lived. “That’s kind of all I remember,” she said.
The next day, Brennan said, she woke up naked and alone in her bed. Later that morning, she got a text from Guice, asking if she had his wallet

So she didn't call or go to the BRPD and say she was raped?

If you read the full article, it’s a very bad look. The girls coach was told multiple times by different people way before the suspension and nothing was done until the roommate called the police during that one incident months later. The tennis coach either didn’t report it or did and the higher ups did nothing about which broke all kinds of Title IX laws as an educator.

Now, we all know that Guice is a bad person who never has been really held accountable, until now. He was allowed to just do whatever he wanted, and people covered for him.

There is a stereotype that famous athletes are above the law, and Guice just furthers that stereotype.

One thing about this article that bothers me, if true, is the withholding of records from the women, to the extent that it is their records. I think these women do deserve to see what is in the files about them.

Beyond that, this article brings up a lot of issues for me that I have with the deal with sexual assault/misconduct as a whole. And that is... we have a criminal justice system. If a woman is raped or attacked, she needs to report it to the police and let the court system do their job. If it's found that the DA is playing favors, that needs to be dealt with.

To expect LSU admin (not LSU PD) to deal with these issues is beyond stupid. They don't have the capabilities to do so.

If these women don't want to press charges or cooperate with the police... I don't know what else to do. I know expecting a player to be punished by a university for a crime that isn't being punished in the criminal justice system, is not something I understand.

I also admit I don't understand all the Title IX issues here. Again, why aren't the police dealing with this?

Miram Segar

So wait, isn't this the person who everyone always says is completely overbearing and goes overboard on everything in terms of compliance? If so, something seems way off here.

One way or the other, Guice seems to be getting what is due to him now.

Segar is a compliance and drug test nazi. She appears to be very bad at handling title ix also.

Hopefully she’s fired by the end of the day.
