If the substance is, in fact, marijuana, then that frequency of testing is unneccesary. THC shows up on tests for 2-5 weeks, depending on how much and how often it it is used. Random testing every few weeks or so would be the best and most efficient method. He would probably be on the hook for the costs since he would not be a member of the team. Not sure how all of this would work anyway due to all of the legal aspects.

What legal aspects? I can identify no legal issue with Mathieu consenting to be drug tested as a condition of his re-instatement, nor with him being responsible to pay for it.

how much do you think it costs to go to LSU?

between $3,450 and $3,500. Not including housing for a semester. LINK

Why are you so hung up on what amounts to the least consequential barrier to Mathieu's return to LSU?

People need to be realistic about it. whatever. I'm not saying anything else about it.

I don't care if TM and LSU get all this worked out. I have serious doubts he could remain trouble free the next year anyway. Anyone who has any confidence in TM rejoining the team does so only out of your desire for him to play again, not because of who TM is and what he has shown us to date.

I would be frustrated with Miles of he allowed him to say with the team. Dude needs to pay the consequences. Let's move on

It was posted as 7,000. A poster suggested he get a job instead of getting loans.

Still hope he can appeal this

So it's a "3 strikes youre permanently off the team" thing? Why the hell even let it GET to three strikes in the first place? Two should be enough

There may not be any. I honestly don't know. Obvously, TM could share his results with anyone he chose to share them with, but this would be a rare and unusual situation to say the least, and I don't know if LSU could even agree to something like this if it wanted to.

There is a big difference between LSU reporting and Guilbeau reporting. If LSU tweets it that is one thing, if Guilbeau is repeating what he heard in the PC it is a different story.

Any truth to the rumor that all the players lined up at Miles' desk and laid their jerseys this morning and said, "This is for the Honey Badger, coach."

"Okay, you are forgiven. Now get suited up and get out to the practice field."
