That's a valid question.

What isn't valid is the assertion that by licensing the rights to produce a beer with their logo, the university/brewery is marketing to the smaller population of underage undergrads rather than the much larger population of legal age alums and sidewalk fans.

Louisiana doesn’t allow anyone under the age of 21 to drink, and that age limit applies to most every student on most campuses.
Well then, lower the age to 18 and the problem is solved.

Nowhere in the bible does it say to NOT drink alcohol...Damn Baptist Power Hungry Hypocrites! Jesus' first miracle was changing water to wine and also says it good for the heart and stomach.

Mr Glover, how about you keep your fricking opinion to yourself and do what you were elected to do, serve the people that elected you. How moral is it to push a bill that you know the general public will never support nor want? And you feel the need to give people a lecture on health, you fat frick? fricking liberals...

According to this: LINK

He received campaign donations from the "Beer Industry League of Louisiana." Seems like he didn't have a moral or religious objection then. I wonder what has changed?

This is false though. Many 3rd and most 4th-year students are of legal age. All graduate and professional students are of legal age.

I get not wanting to link alcohol with schools, but every bit of reasoning he is using comes off as reactionary and not motivated by anything that isn't personal.
