Ya'll need to keep Pookies yard on Joe Delpit out of your mouth. Barrel fire bar-b-q chicken plate and parking for $20. Sold out SEC games, from stadium seat to car in 20 mins, from car to the 10-12 split in another 20 minutes.

How is it possible that such a fricked up state has a school and campus this amazing?
Posted on 2/21/25 at 2:07 am to WDAIII
Louisiana is not a fricked-up state.

Wow! Impressive! Where is all this money coming from? I thought the state and by extension LSU were broke?

The only complaint is I wish they had kept more of the traditional Spanish architecture in the proposed new buildings.

Still pissed they got rid of the old Huey P field house with the pool. Yeah yeah it was nasty and a great place to catch a staph infection in it’s later years BUT iit has so many memories for sooo many people I selfishly wanted it to stay the same.

It’s a dry sensory deprivation table.

Great post. Excited about the changes coming to campus.

Nicholson Gateway really improved that area of campus drastically

Whether one agrees or disagrees, I appreciate the work behind that post .

Is the new library also replacing the Electrical Engineering building?

Moscona mentioned the other day on his show that the arena announcement is coming soon

I seriously think that as LSU grows, which its continuing to yearly, those shitty apartments and other slums around campus are going to get bought up and demoed by private developers for student housing. Its inevitable. LSU doesn't have enough dorms on campus and prime real estate that hasn't been developed on near campus is pretty much gone. The only option is to continue developing down Burbank, Nicholson, and River Road, but eventually the commute to campus will make it not worth it for students. Cue private developers coming in, buying out these terrible areas and redeveloping them

Agreed. It does not go out of style.
I like the small details of making campus more walkable/less cars in the core areas.
