Until Chicken institutes an IQ test for starting threads, we'll continue to see inane topics such as this.

It's truth. Every big time match-up with another great team requires a big time drive under crunch time. Bama beat us several times recently because they could chuck it down the field with under two minutes left.

last year bama won on a QB run for their only TD

This is probably the stupidest post that came out of LSU's victory over BYU.

You should be proud of yourself....your stupidity is unparalleled on the Rant.

Sometimes I really believe that people just come up with topics to garner downvotes.

Did it last year against Auburn. Miles' clock management prevented the victory.

driving the length of the field with only passing wins championships is such a cliche.

why, are we playing in a 7 on 7 passing league? Is the run an illegal play in NCAA now? You are not very smart.

Not sure why everyone is freaking out on OP. A 2-minute drill offense is critical to championship-caliber teams

Then this is what he should've said instead of being vague.

I wish when people made stupid threads like this they'd come back and try to defend themselves.

[quote]Etling passed at an 82% clip. We could have passed all day if we wanted to.

Not convinced of this. Most of the passes were short, controlled throws....with the exception of the ball to Chark....and that was under thrown. We def need to work more in this area in order to stop teams from stacking the box.

You think Alabama and that scary passing attack could live off just passing all game? Nope

I'm pretty sure that's what he meant. The team needs to be able to move the ball expeditiously, when the other team is expecting the pass.

Someone who gets it...we've had good defenses and solid running games the past ten years but the elite teams (namely Bama) have gotten the best of us. No matter how good your running backs are, the elite teams that can match you in the trenches will eventually stack the box and force you to beat them through the air.

You guys are arguing against a point that was your basis for firing Miles and you think I'm the idiot. Redunculous.

Canada needs to have these guys trained to win a game through the air if we want to win a championship. Not saying he won't, just saying its a necessary ingredient that we still haven't seen yet, so pump your brakes children.
