Dude is the standard for every other coach at LSU. Take notes!

Word is that there are people in that dugout that are not a fan -- and it's not just players.
Any recommendations for crawfish propane burners? My old burner takes forever to bring a pot to boil.
Just a reminder that eight months from now, every player will look like a stud all-sec performer according to local media.

Let me save you all a little heartbreak, this team will once again need to hit the portal for essentially the same areas-- defensive linemen and defensive backfield, plus a transfer wide receiver and an o-linemen.

If Kelley doesn't, then the ceiling win total range is 6-8 wins.

Correct...our defense got stressed by stalled drives against USC.
Scheme!!!!!

Sloan failed to realize his inside run game was not working in USC game and failed to adjust.
Bad O-line + Bad QB = Short curls and outs.

Jayden blossomed because we let him throw across the middle with WR streaking toward the end zone.

Sloan needs to realize what he has and stop giving these WRs routes that end with their backs to the goal line!!!

We beat USC if our drives would not have repeatedly stalled and stressed the defense. D actually played better than they are in that game.

Purple sunglasses aside...it should be a pickem.

Pass oriented offense against suspect secondary.
Misleading when we haven’t had a game yet. Scrimmages do not equate to live games under the lights with noise, chaos, and new plays you haven't been seeing repeatedly for a month straight.
2023 Preseason Ranking = #5
2023 Final Ranking = #12

When you enter the year No.5, and then your QB wins the Heisman with two first-round pick receivers, you win the national title . . . unless your defensive backfield is soooo bad that you go backwards in the rankings to finish #12.

2024 Preseason Ranking = #12
2024 Final Ranking = ???
- The majority of the defensive backfield is the same.
- We don't have Daniels, Nabers, and Thomas to make up for the defense.

The absolute ceiling is 9 wins, but the floor could be as low as 6 wins.

A lot must go right to finish ranked:
- The QB and receivers must prove to have been better than the people they were backing up last year, despite the fact that they were backups and the same age or older as the guys ahead of them.
- We must hit the double jackpot in hiring the "next great young offensive/defensive coordinator minds" -- despite their small sample sizes and it being a roll of the dice.
- The defensive backs must have magically gained instincts that enhance tackling and ball skills.
Read somewhere that Jackson had maturity and character issues despite his physical tools. Would lean towards Spears if true.
Let's hope you're right and coaching was at least 50% of the problem. And let's hope further that coaches can fix poor angles and lack of instincts. Not so sure about the latter.
Agree with you on DT but at least DT has plenty of veteran depth that has been proven to be serviceable at a minimum. Although no ALL-SEC talent, they are at least average. The backfield on the other hand is putrid.
We had a National Champioship offense last year, but a Division II secondary. Unfortunately, there are no other reliable starters unless a young player steps forward. Of the list below, do coaches expect any below to make that leap:

Safety:
Kylin Jackson
Ju'Juan Johnson
Joel Rogers
Dashawn Spears

Cornerback:
Ashton Stamps
Javien Toviano
Woodland
Causey
Foster

Praying for an immediate impact type Delpit, Adams, or Honey Badger here or we are in trouble.

Is it possible?

If it happens, it would mean they are better than veterans, albeit average veterans, Guillary, Gio Paez, and Jalen Lee. Would be a good sign.

Fingers crossed. Otherwise, no QB pressure, and cornerbacks have to cover extended plays = trouble.
Change the birthplace to Ohio and coaching job to the Buckeyes and we would all hate her.

She comes across as immature and entitled, much like many of the players she coaches.
We don't have the NIL to get it done. It's a different game now.
Despite camp talk about Stamps, Yaites was the first freshman off the bench.
