He doesn't have the escapability of Daniels or Nabors and Thomas to throw too, so how much change do you see ??

More 2 tight end set ?

Heavy run and play action ?

No. Nuss will rush for over 1000 yards next season. No change.

If by change you mean scoring 35 less points, then yes

I don’t suspect nuss will be the leading rusher.

Certainly going to be giving RBs susbtantially more carries.

Kelly was just talking about it changing and implied downfield passing since Nuss defaults to pushing the ball down the field.

I expect our running game to consist primarily of running backs rather than the QB as well as heavy play action to marginally replace the threat of the QB running

Probably not.

More predictable offense and more run plays. Nuss will have to hurt defenses with the long ball.

Substitute the Daniels Read/Option for a RB zone read with more playaction pass. Nobody on our team runs like Daniels so the RB's will have to make up those yards either rushing or in the screen game

Nuss has superior arm talent. He can run but no where near what the JD5 gazelle could do.

Denbrock will tailor the offense to his new strengths.

Of course it will. You won't run R/O RPO tight end flat at all. LSU won't run any qb bash, draw, or lead. You'll see other concepts replace those, such as instead of R/O RPO, you'll see flood and leak concepts that get to the edge and flats without the qb action. You'll probably also see more screens to backs and throws to backs out of the backfield since you won't be clearing/keeping backs in to protect as much to make room for Daniels to run.

Curious about this as well.

Do we utilize more bubble screens or outside run?

Nuss isn’t exactly a statue either, so QB runs are still in play. Bowl game should be a nice preview!

I hope that it changes because we are in a different game script because the defense actually makes stops. Hopefully we have a healthy run game to open it up for nuss.

No, it won’t change much. You got a fricking quarterback that is not nearly as mobile or dynamic with the football. Nah it won’t change much.

I don't know what to expect yet, but I think the bowl game will give us a pretty good idea. I suspect that they build a specific game plan for Nuss (and the offense, in general) in the bowl game as a test case for what they foresee.

There won't be as much RPO obviously, but the OL should be stout AGAIN. Look for 2 backs to get the bulk of the carries and Nuss' arm should help open things up for the run game.

Let's just beat Wisconsin and get a good spring of work in to see where we're at.

Arm talent consist of touch as much as it does strength. Nuss does not have the touch that Jayden had. Plus Daniels could get the ball down the field. Sure he has a stronger arm than Daniels.
I believe Daniels will go very high in the draft based on his ability to throw the ball down field with touch. There were a lot of plant passes that reminded me of burrow.
