So that innocuous post elicited this:

Absolutely, it has to change because Nuss doesn't have the same skill set as JD. After two seasons with this coaching staff, I'm sure the coaches know what they have in Nuss and will design an offense that will play to his strengths.

Of course the offense will change. It has to change.

CBK just said that the offense will change to fit Nuss's skillset.

There are entire chapters that Daniels could run that Denbrock won't ask Nuss to do, e.g. the run option RPO that Daniels ran with Taylor. I would imagine that most of the designed QB runs will be called much less often with Nuss.

We will get a preview to some of the changes for the ReliaQuest Bowl.

Yes. Kelly already said so. I think you’ll see a lot of it in the bowl game, esp with the running backs carrying more of the load and more play action

it better!

We have a good OL and good rb’s so probably more ball control. Nuss will inevitably have more INTs than Daniels and will be less efficient but hopefully knows that sometimes you have to take what the defense gives you.

There are two words to describe Nuss:

I hope you understand, when fans begin to assess Nuss' performance, they will compare Nuss' first year performance with Daniels fifth year as a starter.

That is the Law of the Rant.

Daniels was a huge part of our run game.

There is no way we can give the RBs 260 carrie’s on the season and expect any kind of balance.

More like Zach Mettenberger, IMO. But with more of a Max Johnson type mobility, instead of a statue.
