No, we're in great shape for hosting a regional (probably locked one up already, but we can removed all doubt with a win Saturday)... Fighting now to potentially host a Super Regional as well.
Still on the outside looking in for a Top8 which would get the SR, but will definitely vault ourself into the conversation if we can win this thing.

Ole Miss should be out of the discussion for a top 8 now.

Maybe, mAybe not. If LSU loses sat, I think ole miss still has a decent case for a national seed. I do think that if LSU wins the sec tourney, ole miss is likely out because at that point LSU resume would probably beat theirs out. LSU may or may not get the national seed, but if you put OM-LSU head to head at that point I find it difficult to believe OM getting the nod over LSU as lsu would have a higher RPI, higher rankings, hotter finish, sec tourney champs, head-to-head win.
All that said, ole miss national seed hopes certainly took a big hit this week.

If LSU losses tomorrow it becomes a 3 way race for one seed.

The only thing I would disagree with is I think LSU is out if we lose Saturday or Sunday....final seed goes to Rice or OleMiss In that case IMO.
I honestly feel anything short of an sec tourney title and we aren't gonna get it. Even with the title we still may not get it over rice, but our only chance is to win our tourney IMO.
