It’s almost like the ump knows Evans and the top of the Tiger order are in control and wants to move the game along quickly.
At least Evans better get a wider zone also.

Not with the six inches off the plate the ump is giving him. Braswell and Dickinson were rung up on balls off the plate.

That last pitch to DD was almost in the dirt. BAD CALL! Better give us the same or JJ is gonna lose it

Modern pitchers being the equivalent to air benders and catchers figuring out that Ump have always cheated looking at their gloves have ruined Umps.
Need the machines.

None of the pitches to Braswell were strikes. You can say they were kinda close I guess.
That strike 3 on DD was really bad.

Bad bad. I'm over college home plate umpires, and MLB isn't much better. Every batter deserves to know where the strike zone really is. I watch too much baseball to deal with these shitty umps...they're gonna be the death of me.

Is that Jeff Head behind the plate?

The announcers did not see that low ball

Braswell can’t take that two strike pitch but, he’ll in all honesty I don’t think they threw him a legit strike all at bat.
Posted on 6/17/25 at 10:49 am to StickD
Well at least he’s giving both the corner.
Posted on 6/17/25 at 10:49 am to L5UT1ger
Umpires got told to get this one done.

protecting the umps, just like how we never got the side angle on Head's swinging call on Bear the other night
