This play is simple and should have been two points. Just a microcosm of our issues. What the hell is Sharp doing? Adams that for is pathetic. Hit someone

After watching that clip; I almost forgive Sloan for the play call. On this play, it's a personnel and execution issue.

Adams looks like he doesn't know the protection; he looks right before realizing the the LG and C are doubling the DT and barely gets a hand on his guy. A lot of times on these kinds of plays, you leave the edge unblocked, but considering LSU's formation and motion tipping off plays; they know that they can sell out and crash down the line.

Sharp is a soft blocker and has no business pulling against a DE at the goalline; D. Green needs to be the TE there.

Donovan Green needs more playing time.

eta: NM, I see it now. The issue isn't Sharp, looks like his responsibility is as lead blocker in the hole, that's why he's so out of position to make the block; it wasn't supposed to be a kick out block. The issue is Thompson at RG.

It really was the RG and tackle. Who know what they were coached to think but clearly they believed that they needed to get the inside guy. Simply was a 2 on 2 situation and they failed to recognize it. When the inside guy slid to the tackle the guard should have stayed on him and the RT should have recognized the need to kick out the guy on the end. They would have had a huge hole because the C and LG had the other guy in a double team. No excuse for LT, that dumbass looked first at the guy the G and C were taking instead of realizing he had a guy of his own. This is horrible coaching for these guys not to be able to call which hat they are taking before the snap

Bad scheme and in some cases poor technique. Some of these guys are capable, the coaching isnt.

Tyree every week is looking like dogshite. I'm not sure why BK didn't address the Oline issues during the first portal opening. I'm starting to think he's just collecting money and letting his assistants do the leg work. He looks lost every week!

Scheme depends. There are 2 ways to run this play, TE is kicking out last man or TE is leading through the hole.

DT jumped outside the Tackle, so if TE is leading through hole then guard and tackle have to kick out. If TE is kicking out, guard goes to Lber.

To me, it looked like Sharp was supposed to lead through hole, which is why his block was so bad. He looks like he was starting to turn up the hole and last minute saw the outside guy coming so tried to get him.

HOwever, it looks like Thompson is playing for TE to kick out. IF that was the case, normally he and the tackle would combo the DT to backer. HOwever the DT jumped outside of the DT, so no combo was necessary. he went straight to backer. DIdn't really do anything. IF this was the case then Sharp was super soft or didn't know what to do.

Either way Sharp or the Right side of the line messed up. I tend to lean to Sharp.

Adams was bad, not way to forgive that.

On the screen play that was called back because Green held, he and Sharpe were double teaming a slot corner and couldn’t move him out of the way. 2 TEs on a little corner and we had to tackle the guy to block him.

I think I’ve seen enough of Brad Davis.

You don't say? He's a horrible OL coach. His message is either not getting through for the past 4 years or he is incompetent. Either way, it's beyond time to find his replacement.

Sloan needs to have a lions share of the blame. Him and Davis seem to not teach these guys how to do their jobs.

On top of that, the scheme is a disaster and not fit for the personnel.

Imo this is exactly what he does.

The notre dame people told us he is hands off as far as recruiting and all the leg work.

And he does look lost on tje sidelines. Everything is reactive not proactive. He just isn't the guy.

Yeah I want to know why are we handing the ball off 6 yards behind line of scrimmage. The back should be into the hole before all that breaks down. Stupid play

Adams may be the worst player on the OL. It's amazing how overhyped the kid was as our amazing backup last year, and he looks atrocious.

That’s actually just dead fricking wrong. Adams and Moore are two best guys on the OL by a mile. Curne showed some real physical ability for a true freshman just thrown out there, but it’s still LG and RT as the weakest links and RG not far behind.

Was this a bad play for Adams- definitely. I think he also gave up a sack in this game, but saying he’s been the worst guy on this OL this season over what we’ve seen from Davis, Chester, Mubenga and Thompson is still pretty ridiculous.
