Hasn't found a fairway yet and dropped 3 strokes in the first four holes. Still gonna collect a butt load of money and advance. Just wish he could find a way to focus in on Sunday.

Anyone have his average for first three days versus his final day in each tournament this year?

It’s not like he is uneasy with his playing companion. He & Scottie are good friends. But, if you keep putting yourself in the final group enough times, keep pushing on that door, he’s bound to break through!

Give ‘em hell, Sam!

His Sunday scoring average is actually the lowest.

I’d have to see that on paper to believe it. But even if true, he definitely has been choking when in the top 5 going into Sunday. Been a theme this year.

Edit: still a helluva player and he’s been elite this year regardless of coming up short multiple times.

Crash and Burns may be his new nickname. He just can’t seem to overcome the mental part of the game on Sunday. Still pulling for him to figure it out.

Brother, Texas’ very own Beau Hossler has this distinction over Burns.

Burns is literally going to heck in a handbasket. It's uncanny.

Most people would say Rickie Fowler has had a phenomenal career on PGA Tour.

He’s 7 years older than Burns, has 1 more win on tour, and multiple top 3 finishes in majors without a win - just like Sam.

Golf is hard.
