I'll ask you to remember how long it took Les to screw up the process Saban had put in place in just 5 years BR. He's had 17 at Bama those coattails alone may be good enough for 2-3 more West titles. Hate it. But watched it happen with Les.

Les didn't have to deal with all his players bailing via the transfer portal. Let's see what happens to Bama's roster first.

No one is saying they’re going to suck. I think most think that these undefeated and 1 loss seasons will turn into 2 loss seasons more frequently. And maybe eventually 3 loss seasons. Which doesn’t suck but isn’t their standard of today. But with a 12 team playoff bama is still in the thick of it annually.

No one thinks they're going to suck. But it usually doesn't work out the way it did at LSU. Think about Zook after Spurrier and Kiffin after Carroll. It'll be almost impossible for anyone to continue to do what Saban did.

Bama will have success for sure but with Georgia and us their success will not be as good as you'd expect. Especially with the transfer portal. We didn't lose players to the transfer portal when Saban left us. That is not going to be the case now.

Agreed! History is not on their side. Look at schools replacing NC coaches. Nebraska, Tennessee , Florida, Florida State, USC, TX, OK
They all went through some dark times.
Heck LSU is probably the only school to break that mold.

They are declining, period. LSU and every other SEC team can go in and bust their arse every year now. Their run is over.

For Bama to not have his game prep and in game coaching decisions available is big enough. They won't suck immediately but they won't be the same Bama.
