If a scheme takes years to implement its fundamentally flawed for the college game.

You’re constantly going to be bringing in young players and asking them to perform.

That’s the nature of the game.

I agree. if Steve Leaves, I think we should hire Jordan Jefferson. He's not only played, but played in a National title game...so that means he'd be better than Ensminger.

You may be on to something here...

Isn't that kind of like acting like every situation is the same, and because one coordinator was able to go from 80th to 3rd playing in CUSA, then every new coordinator should be able to do that same thing?

I would Have run more read options and screens (slip and Bubble) vs Florida. We ran like 1 of each for a lot of success vs an aggressive Defense.

I think wouldn’t have tried to go back to steve’s version of Canada’s offense with the

There needs to be more posting of the actual play calls after each game. People really do remember only what they want to. Oh, and if a play is unsuccessful, it's as if it wasn't called.

Do you have a play breakdown because I don’t remember that

I temember A very success RB screen, a successful WR bubble screen, and a blown up middle screen.

I know Jefferson caught 2. Moreau caught one. There was one each intended for each running back. One of them got foiled, i dont not remember which. And I want to say Giles had one too, though that may have been in the first half.

I’m tired of no beer policy in stands.
That’s what I’m tired of.

Cold beer LSU football in TS = winning.

2 or 3? He needs AT LEAST 5. We're incorporating elements from:
-The Saints

Then go and offer Mike Lombardi some serious bank to come here and become the QB and receiver's coach...or OC. Weren't some Saints coaches in BR over the summer consulting with the LSU offensive staff?

I dont Disbelieve you but I also wish I had One of those “every pass” videos.

But I mean A lot more of them, because they worked. I feel Like sometimes we’re afraid to do something till they stop it.

This is one, mislabeled. Same play as the next one, just opposite side of field

2-5 at Lsu25 Joe Burrow screen pass complete to Justin Jefferson for 8 yards to the LSU33, 1ST DOWN LSU

quote:

Joe Burrow screen pass complete to C. Edwards-Helaire for loss of 1 yard to the LSU31 (Dean,T.;Gardner,C.).

quote:

Joe Burrow middle pass complete to Foster Moreau for 14 yards to the UF28, 1ST DOWN LSU (Davis,S.).

Another mislabeled, this was a TE screen

quote:

Joe Burrow rush up middle for 12 yards to the LSU43, out-of-bounds (Polite,J.).

I believe this is the one that was foiled, Brosstte or CEH were tackled or snuffed out

I think you should apply.

Certainly a kid with as much opinions as you have and PlayStation knowledge could help this offense!
Do it... post your resume here.
We could all help you!
Justice could be your analyst.

What a combo!

It's all about getting the ball rolling. My point was LSU wasn't going to go from having a below average offense to putting the fear of god into their opponents in a single offseason. Regardless of who was hired as the OC. I honestly don't think Ensminger will ever turn this offense into something special, but I also was realistic enough to not expect them to build Rome overnight. This is about what I expected (maybe even a little better), anyone who expected more is just unrealistic.

Ok, I’ll concede we ran screens

I still Think we should have ran more. Because they clearly were working.

I’d rather a WR bubble than the outside zones that were getting stuffed. And it does the same thing- stretch the defense horizontally. Imagine if we used better WE than fricking Giles too.
