Pac 12 teams have very little defense , they depend on offense , they on the most part would be run over by SEC teams , defense is where its at ,as long as the game is close your team has a chance of winning . when the ball is in the air three things can happen and two of them are bad !

We did not frick up with Herman. Instead, Texas fired Strong, came in hard and late, and Herman got his dream job at UT - the school where he was a grad assistant and met his wife. He wanted to be in Austin - not Baton Rouge. We did not frick up, just lost out.

If Ensminger is unable to coordinate this offense to score around 30 points Saturday against Georgia, we'll probably lose that game as well. If that happens, I want Ensminger's resignation (as OC).

Why is it on the OC? My question after the Florida game was where in the hell is this awesome defense? If Aranda was worth his $2.5 million 19 points would have been enough to win the game.

Just pointing out that everyone wants to be critical of the offense but our defense has its share of problems.

A coach can scheme his arse off but ultimately it comes down to personnel.

We fricked up by not firing Les at the end of 2015. Our options were much better in 2015 and we wouldn't have this O clusterfrick. Then we fricked up again by firing Les four games into 2016 rather than letting the season play out and again, we wouldn't have the O crap hanging around our neck..

It's almost as if Alleva and O planned it this way.

It's Ensminger's first year as OC. You have to give him 2 or 3 seasons to fully implement the offense. These expectations are outlandish. E is doing a great job. Coach Eaux believes in him and that's really what matters. We just have to be patient.

I agree with you OleSkule, I just didn't wanna go on another diatribe this time about Aranda. LOL I think Aranda is overrated and not worth that kind of money, but people at LSU pushed the same panic button they pushed when Miles was saying he was leaving to go to Michigan. If aTm wanted Aranda let him go, they are more really good young DC's out there, but once again LSU panicked because somebody wanted one of their top coaches that they thought was special. Lol Listen, I don't doubt that Aranda is a good DC, but his schemes and philosophy can be burned and lighted up like anyone else's. The last 3 DC's LSU has had since Saban left Pelini, Chavis, and now Aranda I just don't really care for their styles of D even though I think Aranda is better than the previous 2. They like to do a lot of read and react shite, dropping DLinemen into coverage sometimes and shite, and I just don't care for that. I guess Saban spoiled me with him and his DC Muschamp running that attacking style defense that just came at you relentlessly, on third down against their kind of D you knew what was coming. They were coming to get your arse (QB) no matter what, relentless pressure with blitzes and all to just dominate an offense the same shite you see at Alabama now that pisses me off. LOL But screw this, I'm tired and going to sleep! Later!

You see what UGA's creative play calling got them.... the team with the most rushing yards and fewest turnovers wins....

period end of story.

scheme doesn't win.. execution does.
