The shitty pac 12 schools have better offensive schemes than us. We are one of the wealthiest programs in the country... unbelievable that we can't get a new young coordinator who knows how to run a passing offense.

that is all

hopefully E becomes a new man Saturday

edit: seems a lot of you remember how bad our offense has been the past few years than you are complacent with this slightly improved offense. All our offense is now is the same concepts Les ran, but we run them out of updated formations like trips. Nothing has changed we still run the ball 90% in the redzone. We still run on 3rd and 5, we still run on 2nd and 7...

if you will stop and really look at it, it's not as bad as you think. we are doing more, it's just not happening as fast as you and I would like. brand new offense, brand new offensive players, plagued by injuries.

I was whining after the florida game, and then got my feet back down to earth.

doesn't mean I wouldn't love to have a lane kiffin or bobby petrino as OC, but it is better than before.

Our play-calling has been schiity for years. We are still one dimensional, way too conservative, and extremely predictable. I hated Les for it....and now I hate O for it too.

Quite frankly, I'm not sure what would cure what ails us short of firing the entire offensive staff including O and starting over.

The more I watch Herman at TX, the more I'm beginning to think we fked up bad.

If I see LSU line up in the wishbone one more time, I'm going to lose it.

It's Ensminger's first year as OC. You have to give him 2 or 3 seasons to fully implement the offense. These expectations are outlandish. E is doing a great job. Coach Eaux believes in him and that's really what matters. We just have to be patient.

I thought the play calling against Ole piss was good.

Florida..... not so much. After the fumble we got conservative and he defense refused to use disguised blitzes.

Will you always be complacent with generic play calling that cannot beat any team better than us? Our playcalling is still focused on the philosophy "being more physical" than the opponent. Evenly matched teams will beat us everytime in this day and age of high powered passing offenses.

2 or 3? He needs AT LEAST 5. We're incorporating elements from:
-The Saints
-The Rams
-80's era 49ers
-early-2000s USC
-early 90s UGA

GIVE SLINGER TIME

And of course he will then need to recruit his own players, right? In four years we should be able to get a read on him, but not before.
Hell, Canada may have been the greatest O C in history, for all we know...

Exactly. You can't make the perfect mix overnight. I think Ensminger is on the right track which is why I think he'll get done in 2 or 3 seasons what would take most offensive gurus at least 5 seasons.

Coach Eaux thinks he's doing a great job and that should be enough for the fans.

Oklahoma is an example of what happens when a good coordinator gets half decent recruits. I'd love to see that offense ran with our talent...

How many PAC12 schools get the recruits and NFL players we get? we are joke with all of this talent. It all goes to waste

absolute nonsense.

Lane Kiffin's first season at Alabama, he made it to the playoffs with Blake Freaking Sims at QB.

Good OCs can make an IMMEDIATE difference.

Lane Kiffin didn't come into a rebuild like Coach Steve Ensminger. Plus Kiffin was doing it the lazy way, not building for long term results. Coach Eaux thinks Ensminger was the best OC for the job and we should believe in Coach Eaux.

Why do you think they run those offenses?

So is Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State and Florida State

The difference is the schools I mentioned have all won a national title in the last 10 years

You don't need a pac 12 offense to be elite
