His facts are wrong. It's approximately $750k for the length of the current contract. Contract ends in December 2031. Not 7 years. That will math out closer to the 53/54 number that's been thrown around.

He’s rounding the years but this is based on the current and original buyout. This is currently what we will be paying him but it will likely get reduced somehow.

Need a sauce Tim, who did you talk to?

However, I do like the dig at Woodward at the end!

$56 million today or $62.1 million over 7 years. Factoring in interest on the delay, it's a better deal for LSU to stretch it out. That's a pretty low implied interest rate.

Gotta be an error.

6 years would get him to 70 years old and that total would be $53.3M.

10 Brando was wrong on the Brian Kelly firing, and he's probably wrong on this. He spouts shite with no sources at all

He doesn’t know. He said people were crazy to think Kelly would be fired.

Wish Brandon would check with Woodward before running this kind of BS. Nothing to gain except a few twitter views.

Les Miles, Brian Kelly, and Ed Orgeron are starting a podcast called "Sabretooth, the extinct tigers."
