Ole Miss in tMud again. Already looking ahead to LSU and will go down to Louisville

#11 LSU v #26 Clemson gets gameday over #9 Ole Miss v #24 Louisville

They always used to like to put Bama just 1-2 spots ahead of us even in Bama’s down years.

Deserved though. We've beat them twice in like what, 15 years?

Brother that won’t matter one bit in the grand scheme of things. If LSU goes 10-2 or better they are practically guaranteed a playoff spot. Heck 9-3 may even get them in but I think this team is a 10-2 or better team personally. Ranked opponents on your resume doesn’t mean near as much to the committee now with a 12 team playoff format as it did before.

Every year Notre Dame is given too much respect simply due to the name.

True, but if we are being honest LSU is the same. 7 of the last ten years our postseason ranking was lower than our preseason ranking.

Much better poll that the bogus "coaches" poll.

Between the AP and the Coaches poll, I have always thought the one who ranked LSU higher was the better poll

all silly voter polls are irrelevant. No one knows, so ignore them all.

Play the games, then we'll all know.

Texas will be in trouble when Jayden looks at this ranking.

When Lane has this team firing on all cylinders, we will jump from #6 to #4 in the rankings.

Who the frick is "Louisiana?"

I've heard of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and University of Louisiana at Monroe and Southeast Louisiana University and Northwestern State University and McNeese State University, but what the hell is "Louisiana?"

Did the Louisiana Legislature approve a new University in the State?

I mean ND played in the Natty 2 years ago and had a pretty dang good team last year and missed the playoffs just because of a missed PAT to A&M and a 3 point loss to the national runner ups, both early in the year with a freshman QB. I think they could’ve made a deep run had they made the playoffs. A high ranking seems justified now, it’s not Brian Kelly’s notre dame
