We should ship it to Tuscaloosa.

They are not doing concessions and restrooms. I spoke to a guy that works for techtonic and they are clearing out the dorms and repaving. And next year they are turning the dorms into a nutritional center for football players.

I thought the nutrition center was going in the South addition. There was an empty floor and they planned on using the kitchen they use for the suites.

Another delay for nutrition center? Bama built theres 6 years ago and just completed renovations. LSU cant even decide a location.

Just reporting what that engineer from techtonics told me.

Can we just have someone paint "WIN" on it and pretend it was put there on purpose?

Tiger Stadium Updates

Any word on if they plan on fixing this broken tube TV that's been facing the I-10 bridge from the EU for the past FIVE seasons?

I mean...no hurry or anything.

I wonder what LSU's response is for that TV to be like that for 5 years. They cant say oh the wind blew it that way and we havent got to it yet.

I've got a friend working on this project. He told me that the number of women's restrooms will be increased in the south end zone.

Also, the hanging scoreboard in the PMAC is being replaced. New one will have a much larger video board.

How hard it is to buy new TVs? Are the bathrooms the same as they were in the 1990s? If so, OMG they were disgusting then.

The price has come way down from 5 years ago. I'm sure LSU could get a great price on 32" screens for concessions stands when buying 100+ TVs.

TV commercial in 2025- "Has you or your loved ones been diagnosed with Mesothelioma and did you attend LSU Tiger home games in 2017? If so contact (insert law firm name here), we'll fight to get you the money you deserve!"

It was odd they had many of us in offices over there for several years, and having an office next door to one where the door was tapped shut with caution tape with asbestos warnings all over. But it was common over there on the west side. We couldn't drink the water either and had bottled water because of small amounts of lead and ecoli.

With the asbestos removal

Remember when we thought they'd NEVER demolish/renovate these areas because of the asbestos? Well look at us now.

which leads me to believe they are only doing parts or certain floors of the old doorms.

But this is the south side which had offices in it just 5-6 years ago. I believe it was art.

The west side dorms would certainly take more time. They were crumbling 12-15 years ago and last offices there were over a decade ago.

Asbestos doesn't typically hurt anyone unless it's stirred up, sitting there is pretty harmless. That's why they keep people away so no one accidentally goes mess with it not knowing what they're stirring up.

Normally they wet it down, throw up visqueen around it then remove while tapping off the area. It's expensive as frick to remove. I would think they would want to get that updated though lol.

Yeah that's pretty rediculous that we can't put up new TVs nowa days. In a public place like Tiger Stadium you should be able to work out a deal for whom evers newest TVs to get them cheap because it's basically free advertisement for that TV. Should be able to get a great deal.
