Apparently, I am in the minority, but not sure this is a good thing.

I go to sporting events not LSU all the time. I usually don't tailgate for those. I grab beers at the game.

I believe their stance on this has changed since then though.

It wasn't LSU's stance that was the problem, it was the SEC's stance that was the problem. We shall see.

And just like the shed or barn in your backyard, it will never be big enough!

I like the idea but as if it wasn't hard enough to get out of the south end.

I like the idea but I'm hesitant on the execution. I just can't see me sitting there during a game and thinking, "You know what I would like to do? Leave my seats and go to a bar and watch the game on TV." If thats what I wanted to do, I don't think I would spend my money on tickets. The times I think I would want to use it (pre-game, halftime, when it's hot, when it's REALLY cold, when it's raining, etc.) I think it will be too crowded for me to worry about it.

I do think this adds value to south end zone seats though. My seats are in section 410, on the row as you walk outside of the tunnel so I should be able to get there pretty fast if I time it right and hopefully beat the halftime rush alot of the time.

Yeah why not just go to a sports bar?

Trust me I like the fact it's an option for everyone. It just isn't very enticing to me is all.

I like it.

My kids are still small. If I can slip in there in the third of the rent a win games it shouldn’t be crowded then. I can have them grab a snack. I can get a beer and we are still at the game.

At least we won’t have to worry about pseudo fans like you being there.

um area...The Chute
You will not be able to walk down to the chute from your seat and grab a beer drink it and walk back to your seat. LSU stated this last year, You will have to exit the chute which will put you outside the stadium go to a gate and enter the stadium. LSU doesn't allow you to exit the stadium and return.

Dude you are wrong

You enter the chute. You drink your beers. When you are finished, you walk back to your seat. The chute is still inside the gates

Due to Southeastern Conference regulations, all beer must be consumed in The Chute.

That's how I do it. Gets me drunk faster and keeps my breath fresh.

I like this.
For those that don’t have a tailgate to go to, you can go in two hours before the game and have drinks while watching other games.

I just hate the name.. "The Chute" wtf... Surely we could have come up with a better name.

The worst part about that is it isn't even on the same side as the Chute. Like if somehow it had been in the North Endzone where part of the patio lets you see the chute and stuff, it'd make sense. Like how the Dallas Cowboys have their entrance for the players cut right through the middle of one of the clubs. The Win Bar would have been so much better.

I've been asking for a "beer garden" in the South Endzone, ever since I saw how big of an open area they had over there. I figured by keeping it contained, we could dodge whatever stupid rules the conference may or may not have.
