I propose two song options:

When You Were Young by the Killers
Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand

Imagine the entire stadium singing in unison at the beginning of the 4th quarter. We could make this one of the iconic moments in college football. If someone knows the Tiger Stadium DJ, pass this along.

I think you should frick off for even suggesting something other than what is already done.

I think this is the worst suggestion ever put forth on this site.

You are an awful human and I hope you haven't procreated.

Calling Baton Rouge is piped in and everyone loves it, but it just doesn't get the younger generation excited anymore and has run its course. It can still be played pregame.

Here’s a nice view of the student section last time Lane was in Tiger Stadium

Pregame- the stadium lights drop to darkness and then go to purple. Smoke billows out from the locker room and team comes out to voodoo child (NWOesque) and then cuts to band.

End of first, Boosie set it off.

End of 3rd, band followed by calling Baton Rouge.

LSU doesn’t need to use country roads or any song by the killers.

The frick?
There’s a large selection of music made by LSU alums and La natives that would be much better choices

Hell, even BTE or Cowboy Mouth would be better options

You do realize both songs you proposed came out like 20 years ago, right?

That will definitely get played, but shouldn’t be 4Q

It’s sad that people don’t understand just how nuts Tiger Stadium used to get when the band blasted those 4 notes between the 3rd and 4th quarter.

This was also in a time when smart phones didn’t exist. You waited for Borne to announce other scores over the PA system. You couldn’t be a degenerate gambler from your fingertips. It was just you, your people and the game being played in front of you. Those times unfortunately aren’t coming back.

I though “Eye of the Tiger” was a great entrance song back in the day and especially when LSU decided to paint the eye on the 50.

How more iconic can it get than Set it Off...

I remember Livin on a Prayer 07 going into 4th quarter versus Florida. Talk about iconic.
