Callin' Baton Rouge is perfect for Tiger Stadium because it evokes the sounds of cajun music and references both Louisiana and BR. The narrative details of the songs don't really matter. When I hear that fiddle crank up, I immediately know that I'm in south Louisiana, and you can hear the pride in the way people respond to it. I've shown that incredible video of the entire stadium singing it to numerous people up here, telling them that THIS is what Saturday night in Tiger Stadium is all about.
For reference, Ohio State's big rock "theme" song is......"Hang on, Sloopy." Not only is it played in The Horseshoe, but it's even on the playlist at Cleveland Guardians games, and everyone does their silly O-H-I-O cheer. I'll take Callin' Baton Rouge any damn day. Geaux Tigers!!!

“Where are all the people” would be more appropriate.

Honest, there typically aren’t but 15 -20% of the seats in Tiger Stadium still occupied at the start of the 4th quarter any more..
