Man... you sound really dumb. The band isn’t in Arizona yet. Not traveling yet saves them a bunch of money. Let’s say band is 325. 4 members to a room. That’s 81 rooms. Let’s say another 8 rooms for managers, graduate assistants etc. then another 3 rooms for the directors. (The number for managers and directors is an estimate). 92 rooms at let’s call it $150.00 is almost $14,000.00. Let’s say the per diem for that one extra day is $50.00 per band member, manager, graduate assistant, and directors. We’ll call it 360 people total. That’s $18,000.00.
That’s around $32,000.00 the university saves and that’s a conservative estimate. Not to mention busses for an extra day etc.

I live in the Phoenix area and had no idea the Fiesta Bowl had a parade. I can't imagine that many people outside of Phoenix know this. People my daughter's age don't even know what the Macy's Parade is anymore.

Maybe we aren’t a high school parade band. We play for the football team. We don’t play for parades. When is the last time you’ve seen LSUs band in a parade.
