But not “every coach out there” did it amateurishly & got busted. Even when Dale got busted, he was an idiot.

I’d rather have smart cheaters and dumb ones
So your issue isn't based on the morality of cheating, only the execution?

That's quite the angle that too many here hold on to.

Having concerns and saying he sucks or Mcloser or predicting 2 SEC wins or ect ect ect are not the same. This was never about Wade vs McMahon . This has always been about the emotionally immature Wade obsessed and Woodward. They have let their anger take over their lives. It’s actually pretty pathetic.so yes there are people who WANT McMahon to lose so they can be right and flip the bird at SW.

It’s probably because of the way Wade was fired. It polarized a lot of people. Strong feelings on both sides pro vs con.

How anyone can be such a dumbass to think that every coach out there was not doing exactly what Wade was doing when recruiting.

And this is the problem with the WW supporters. They can’t see how careless WW was with the program.

It never occurred to them that WW was using LSU as a stepping stone to something greater for himself. And not LSU.

At the end of the day, WW left the LSU program worse than he found it as he is marching HIS way to a bigger opportunity

9-9 and trending down. But after that he left with the program nuked. McMahon can't do anything with a previous record if there aren't any players.

Wade doesn't inherit a record from the previous year. Jones was a horrible coach but left Wade with a talented roster and no NCAA investigations.

Yep, Wade was making too many NCAA tournaments for my taste. I would much rather SUCK HIND TIT like we are now and most likely will until we hire another winning coach.

Geez. I’m talking about when he left the program. Meaning AFTER he left.

WW joined LSU after a horrible year. Maybe 2 SEC wins. He left LSU with a program that went on for maybe 2 SEC wins.

Prior to WW taking over, LSU was competitive other than that final year before he took over. WW had a spike year but declined each year after.

Whether or not every other successful coach out there, for the life of me I don't get why any coach would admit to it over the phone. What possible good can come out of that? Weve all seen what bad can come from it. That dumbarse move right there, plus using his wife's checing account is enough for termination.

Ha. No one has been moving those goalposts. It’s been said for years. WW excelled at recruiting but hasn’t produced in the tournament with any school…and the recruitment is another story.

A bit curious where those goalposts need to be for you to make a point?

It’s not McMahon’s fault but after seeing what the punishment was for Will Wade it is painfully obvious firing him was a terrible mistake. Instead of admitting this fact, people make unhinged arguments like we were “in a decline” or “played street ball” or “Wade couldn’t win in the tournament” or “we had to fire him for football”. LSU bball fans got screwed. Hopefully McMahon can recruit more talent and take a big step forward next season. NIT in year 2 just because Year 1 was historically bad doesnt mean we’ve arrived anywhere.

LSU admins thought they needed to fire Wade and did.

And that is the flaw. The Admins wanted Wade gone and took advantage of the opportunity to get rid of a successful coach. It was not a secret around the Athletic Department that Woodward and Tate didn’t care for Wade.

ETA. Everybody involved in this process, including the LSU admin, was well aware that the IARP wasn’t going to hammer Wade or LSU regardless of whether he was fired or not. The vast majority of the allegations against Wade could not be proven by the NCAA. If all the dumbasses that keep referencing his wife’s checking account were to actually read the findings, they would see that NONE of those allegations were upheld by the IARP.
