He’s really not satisfied in the least with where his team is currently. Said I know how to get it corrected and that’s to be a raving lunatic. Tried the nice guy approach...... Said this team can be really good. “I know the foolproof way of getting it corrected and that’s fixing to come out right here at 3 O’Clock”

We need to invest in our BBall program before he gets poached by another school. Show him and everyone else that LSU is a contender too! And Wade will take us there!

Pretty easy. Cut down on stupid turnovers and those close games become 10+ point wins.

They just played this on Moscona's show. As I said in the Florida game thread. These kinds of games are a coach's wet dream. He can chew is guys out and still get the win.

I don't think anyone is touching Wade until all this FBI gate is put to bed.
With that said, the PMAC needs to be imploded and that spot deserves a modern facility as a showpiece right next to Tiger Stadium
This next round of TV deals with some fundraising should be able to get it done.
Not sure where they would play in the interim
Maybe the River Center could be set up for hoops and used for one season for both men and women while new one is built

Even after the FBI thing is over there may be some hesitancy to bring him on. If we get out of this thing with no probation or big sanctions it may be the best thing to happen to LSU basketball.

Glad to see someone else who isn't completely satisfied by the fact that even though they are winning, it's not exactly a sustainable way to play.
Wade recognizes this team could be damn good and there is no reason they should be sweating out so many close games over (a) shitty teams or (b) teams whom they have clearly played better than for much of the game only to fall apart down the stretch.
Sometimes you are going to just have to gut out a win. Every team does. That was the case vs. Arkansas and MSU. But it was ridiculous to watch LSU have to sweat out the last two in which they were clearly better that night up until the point they collapsed down the stretch with bad defense and dumb turnovers

The fact that LSU held onto him after all the drama last year and him refusing to talk to LSU with his first attorney (which even Wade admitted was ill-advised afterward) was pretty loyal and showed that LSU was invested in Wade.

At least Smart has cut down on the number of 3s he throws up when there is plenty of time to run the offense.
